"These and other weighty matters are obsessively debated on the numerous unofficial Lemony Snicket Web sites and blogs that have sprung up since the series's inception, most notably 667 Dark Avenue (at asoue.proboards11.com), named for the sinister high-rent apartment building in the sixth book, "The Ersatz Elevator."

I think we all got here through Lemony Snicket but the reason we've stayed is for each other. The Series is over - it's been more than three years now since the last book - and while the forum isn't as active as it used to be it's definitely still going strong. Drama, romance, hilarity, creativity and a great bunch of people overall. What more could you ask for?

Maybe they weren't the Chaos Emeralds. Maybe they were something else. Probably.

It's a really friendly board as well -- you don't have to feel stupid for being new like you sometimes do elsewhere. That's probably part of the reason people stick around when they find 667.
