Egmont's homepage has undergone a temporary transformation...
---
It would be easier to deny if there weren't a press release about it, but on 15th October 2013, Lemony Snicket's second book in the ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS series, "When Did You See Her Last?" will arrive in stores nationwide.
The first book in the ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS series, "Who Could That Be at This Hour?" arrived to inexplicable acclaim. Described as "a noirish parody written with sharp skill" (The Sunday Times) and "a must for S.O.U.E. fans and new converts" (Daily Mail), ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS explores the mysterious origins of Mr. Snicket and his early misadventures. Now, Mr. Snicket has accidentally revealed the next book in the series: "When Did You See Her Last?"
In the fading town of Stain'd-by-the-Sea, the young apprentice Mr. Snicket has a new case to solve when he and his chaperone are hired to find a missing girl. Is the girl a runaway? Or was she kidnapped? Was she seen last at the grocery store? Or could she have stopped at the diner? Is it really any of your business?
Lemony Snicket's newest series, ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS, follows the wildly successful A Series of Unfortunate Events, which has sold over 60 million copies worldwide and has been translated into thirty-nine languages over widespread objections.
ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS has reunited Snicket with his longtime representative, Daniel Handler, author of the critically acclaimed young adult book Why We Broke Up, which was described as "an unforgettable literary anthem" by the Daily Telegraph and "an epiphanic rite of passage" by The Times. Mr. Handler is also the author of several novels, including The Basic Eight and Adverbs.
Acclaimed artist, cartoonist and designer Seth has been implicated once more in the forthcoming volume. The cover of "Who Could That Be at This Hour?" was named one of the New York Times' and Flavorwire.com's favourite covers of 2012. But what do they know?
Egmont Press continues to have the misfortune of publishing the ALL THE WRONG QUESTIONS series.
