Here's some more!
Lucas was very confused. All he wanted was for people to give him some respect and some tornado decided to take him to a strange place with strange people that treated him almost like they treated him at home. "I just want to go home!" he said, sitting down.
"I don't know where you came from boy, but I don't know how to get you home," said Sixteen. "Me neither," said Anka, with a faint smile. It seemed like she was hiding something but Lucas just dismissed it.
Observing the town, Lucas noticed that there was another building directly next to the mayor's house. It looked much grander, with Greek columns and statues everywhere. It was big enough to fit the entire towns' population. Sixteen noticed that Lucas was staring. "That's our library just in case you were wondering," he said.
Lucas didn't understand why a town full of sheep needed a library, but he guessed maybe the mayor got bored every once in a while. He didn't want to be rude by asking. All of a sudden, the large double doors of the library opened and the librarian poked his head out.
"What's all the fuss about?"he asked. "Oh, I forgot there's another person in this town," said Sixteen. "This is Dante, our librarian. Dante, this lonely boy has a love that keeps him waiting. He needs to go home to Kantucky or whatever,"
"Kansas. And I am not in love!" said Lucas.
"Oh, well, I know who can help. Why don't you just go to see the Wizard? He can help," said Dante. "Yes what an excellent idea!" said Anka. "Okay, but how do I get there?" asked Lucas.
"You follow the pinstripe brick road," said Dante. "Follow the pinstripe brick road," said Sixteen. "Follow the pinstripe brick road," said Anka. And then the sheep joined in to a lovely musical number about how Lucas was off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz (because it still sounds good to say that so we're keeping the land named Oz) and how he should continue to follow the pinstripe brick road until he got to the Emerald City and then the wizard would help him. Lucas set off on the pinstripe brick road, hoping this mystical wizard would help him get back to Kansas.

Excellent! I particularly liked this line: about how Lucas was off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz (because it still sounds good to say that so we're keeping the land named Oz) The librarian is a new character, I think? So there's room for characters who aren't based on anyone in the film - that's good to know.

Now Dante's the librarian?! And a pinstripe brick road!
Wow, this is getting weirder.

Lucas was exhausted. He had been walking for miles on this accursed road. Psy played dead, and he decided that this would be a good place to stop, partially because there was a fork in the road. One road led to the left and the other led to the right and in the center was a very large corn field. Lucas saw a nice comfy patch of grass to sit on across from the field so he took off his backpack and sat down. He was lost in thoughts about how much he missed his home when he heard a voice. He looked up but didn't see anyone nearby.
"Psst, over here," it said. He looked up again but all he saw was a very poorly constructed scarecrow propped up on a post behind the fence to the cornfield. Her arms were crossed over her chest, and there were crows pecking at her shoulders. Lucas closed his eyes again.
"Psst," it said again. Lucas looked around again and this time the scarecrows' arms were pointing to the left fork in the road. He gathered his things and stood up, staring closely at the scarecrow. It winked at him and he jumped six feet in the air.
"Lost are you?" she asked. "You can talk?"he asked. "Of course I can! People without brains talk all the time," she replied, shooing the crow with a flick of her hand. "I'm Sherry Ann, who are you? You look lost."
"I'm Lucas, and I guess I am lost. I'm on my way to see the wizard." "A wizard huh? I would love to read about them but as you can see I'm stuck on this here post. There's a nail digging into my back and it's awfully uncomfortable. If you can get me down maybe I'll be able to help you," she said.
Lucas hopped over the fence, as it wasn't very tall, and stared up at the post. It was slightly taller than he was and he didn't see a box anywhere for him to stand on. Sherry Ann was able to reach down to him and held out her hands with her palms together. Lucas graciously accepted the boost and tried not to hurt her as he climbed to the top of the post. He found the nail with ease and saw that it was simply tucked under the collar of Sherry Ann's shirt. He picked her up, she was very light for a scarecrow that could talk, and she went tumbling down.
Her arm fell off when she hit the ground and Lucas carefully helped her stuff herself together. "So why are you going to this wizard?" she asked.
"I'm not from here, and I just want to go home," he said. "So this wizard just gives people things they want?" "Yeah, I guess so. That's what Dante told me." "Maybe he can give me a brain," she said. "Why do you want a brain? You seem plenty smart to me," he said. "I just want to be able to learn everything there is to learn and I don't think the straw in my head can really absorb everything that I learn," she said sadly. Then she burst into song about how wonderful it would be to have a proper brain and how she's not interested in stealing it from someone else, or eating brains, but just how useful it would be to have one that maybe someone had lying around somewhere. Lucas didn't know that people in this land were as musical as he was so he joined in. After twenty minutes they were exhausted.
"All right, well, you can come with me if you want," he said. "Why that would be delightful!" And then they linked arms and sang some more about the pinstripe brick road and skipped merrily along the left fork in the road, hoping they were going the right way.

Yay, except I don't think Sherry Ann has the ability to sing and dance at the same time. Too much multitasking.
