I completely agree with J. Hey j, do and Mynameisjaques want to start a CLOSE ALL UNNEEDED AND REPEATED THREADS police group. It will make sure all those newbies are given a through warning to read to see if there are other threads, and if they continously do it, we can report it to Tragedy or Swans.

But people also don't like it when people bring up old threads. What are the newbies sopposted to do? They can't start a repeated thread and they can't bring up the old one.

I have wondered about the same dilemma. Is is better to bring up a very old thread or start a new one whose topic has been talked to death? Neither of these is an unredeemable transgression--so don't act like they are--but they're both rather annoying.
