I was looking at tattoo ideas and I came across one that said "Memento Mori".

My sister and I had takeaway tonight. The delivery man had one eyebrow and his name was Omar. Sadly, I didn't have an opportunity to steal a peek at his ankle. But he was a very good deliverer of ice cream.

Along the lines of Terry Craig's observation of how the film Venom (no, not that one) seems so much an ASoUE coincidence as to possibly be an inspiration - Barry Sonnenfeld has mentioned screwball comedies as an influence on his directing style for the ASoUE Netflix series; and one film that helped found the screwball comedy genre, It Happened One Night, features a scene in which, as in the ASoUE movie, a rakish fortune-hunter arrives at his wedding in an autogyro.

this only kinda fits but i was just watching The Player (1992) and it has this sorta eerie reverberating montage music throughout.. i started to think it sounded just like the music in ASOUE movie where violet does an invention or klaus thinks about books or something. then i looked it up and it's the same composer thomas newman.
