Hey, ecc02, I know you're new here, but people don't appreciate it when you double post. Use the modify button instead. Thanks!

4 books into the sequel would make it so so rushed.. a lot more happens in those boooks then what happened in the first 3 so they were able to put them all in one.

You do too need The Miserable Mill. Reason1: Phil. Reason2: Dr. Georgina Orwell. We need the investigation and the disguises in that book to take the series further into the mysteries it contains. Reason3: Gum. Phil doesn't have to be in it at all until 11... I meas so what? Rather than reintroducing a previously unimportant character, you introduce a character... Why does Dr. Georgina Orwell have to be in it? Gum can be slipped in any time, maybe someone could offer them some at Prufrock Prep, and then LS has a line about their allergies...

Phils not really THAT important. He is only an optimist who get injured a lot (and in the GG, a cook). Hey, did they get a new director yet? Because I read something about the old one quitting. Something like that.

Okay, this is my idea for the sequel. The 4th book REALLY isn't neccessary, except for maybe cracking up the audience with Jim Carrey in drag, but I have a solution to that all. Oh, and Phil will be introduced in the third or fourth movie when they get around to book 11.
The movie starts out with the kids in the care of Mr. Poe, and they are told they are being sent to Prufrock. The children are talking amongst themselves in the bedroom they stayed in at Mr. Poe's, and they wonder if Prufrock will be a safe place for them to live. "I'm just glad that we get to go to school. Our lives have been anything but normal lately. I can't bear living with the Poes any longer. Do you think he'll come back?" asks Klaus. "I don't know. The authorities are keeping a close watch on Count Olaf. I think we'll be okay." Violet responds. "Oomogackie!" shrieked Sunny, which meant "Remember that time he dressed up as a herpetologist? *Flash clip of him as Stephano with the knife in the door* or that time he disguised himself as a peg-legged sailor? *Clip of Captain Sham being pushed over by Klaus*" she finished. "Yeah, if he did come back though, what could he possibly be disguised as?" *Flash clips of Jim Carrey in various Olaf disguises, and have the last one be a woman* The children laugh.

Theres no need for all that. It's a waste of 5 - 10 min. I say just have the camera staring at the childrens' and Mr. Poes back while they look on the at the gothic looking school as it rains and thunderstorms during midday.

They'll have to skip the 4th movie because Klaus breaks his glasses and then goes Dr.Orwell to be hypnotized but Aiken doesnt wear glasses in the movie

I reckon the movie thread would go by the boxed sets ... 4 5 6, 7 8 9, 10 11 12 and the 13th could be a huge movie!

They'll have to skip the 4th movie because Klaus breaks his glasses and then goes Dr.Orwell to be hypnotized but Aiken doesnt wear glasses in the movie I think they will skip it, but not because he didn't wear glasses, because it doesn't advance the plot. It's the same formula as Book 2 & 3.

It would be a shame to miss out on book no 4, but though, both (cant remember the names of the last two posters sorry) have made a point. Aiken DOESNT wear glasses, and the movie doesnt advance the plot. I, to my great disapointment, will go with there wont be a 4th book made into the movie. although im not happy! Do you know, if there is any place where I can find like news that is updated regularly about SOUE movie sequal? I cant find anywhere
