Do you know, if there is any place where I can find like news that is updated regularly about SOUE movie sequal? I cant find anywhere I don't think there is any official info, just guesswork and speculation. And I think the longer they wait, the less likely it is that there will be a sequel.

I was thinking that since the twins and Emily probably won't be returning for the sequel, maybe they should make the Orphans be different for each film. Just think about it... Liam, Emily and the twins are very good at the parts but it wouldn't be the same with just Liam and two different people as the other siblings.

Last time I'm going to say this:
Emily is contracted for a sequel. She would HAVE to do it.

MY OPINION
I think the went totally wrong with the movie from the strange comedy to Jim Carrey. I think they should stop the movies now, and perhaps in years have a seperate company produce the books as a television mini series
But if they do make a sequel, do it 4, 5, 6 then 7, 8, 9 followed by 10 and 11 then 12 and 13. Reason? you need all the books without cramming them in. Also the last two movies would be much better and longer and I think the GG makes a great cliff-hanger ending.

I hated sunny in the movie and i didnt get the whole subtitle thing. Babies can be replaced because they don't have any obvious features.

You know what I think would be better than a sequel? If they kept on remaking the first one until they got it right. Hear hear! I concur!

I heard that both Emily and Jim agreed to doing a sequel. I hope they don't change the characters too much... especially Liam.
It might make sense to cut out book 4 b/c of the whole glasses thing, but I think that would discourage people who want the books and the movie to be exactly alike. They might not want to see it if it messes up the series.
I personally hope there is a sequel especailly with TAA and the Quagmires.

At first I hated Snicket. Then the more I watched it the more I like it. Then I watched it again, and I thought it was okay. Then the more I watch it I hate it! Sunny's subtitles, the ending and Jim's adlibbing is unbearable now! I hate the movie at the moment, but love the special features and deleted scenes, which is why I think a Director's Cut is necessary! In 10 years if I can get the money, expect 'Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning', based solely on the book, and directed by moi, Mr. Wonderful.

People who want the movie to be the same as the book annoy me. Do they even know how a adaptation is meant to be?
That article about that you guys are discussing was in Empire Magazine last year, just so you know.

People who want the movie to be the same as the book annoy me. Do they even know how a adaptation is meant to be? exactly. I think you have to keep Emily and Liam, but Sunny, if she gets too old, could easily be replaced. If there is a sequel, it wont come out until mid 2006, because the last one started production in February and came out in December.
