Right, Theory 13): Olaf appointed a new troupe, and left Warty to arrange plays, but somebody mistook him for Abraham Lincolin...What do you mean, he was dead then? We don't know when these books are set!
I bet ether he was ether forgotten about or he just worked at the thearte and didn't know about Olaf's evil plan.
Let's see, i'll just utterly destroy this theory: Towards the end of Book I, he goes towards the light-switch, giving Olaf time to escape, which leads to Theory 14), that he burnt himself to death on the light-switch. Either way, he wouldn't have turned the lights out if he didn't know a thing about the play. One way to make this theory true, though, is that he decided that he would temporarily blind Olaf, but he didn't work. There Theory 15) comes about, he was good all the time and he decided to get a job somewhere (M. Money Management?) and hasn't/won't be seen for books II-XIII. (Yes, I used roman numerals!)
I think I like Daniel Handler ALOT more now! ;D I mean, reading his books is awesome, but reading about his life?! In entrie 1,possibly,his Wife-on-the-couch might be Beatrice. But that was AWESOME! ;D I'm gonna go and re-read it...
