Question: If you didn't have to write the stories of the Baudelaires to show them to the public, how would you feel and what else would you do.

Question: What new plotlines did you intend to create based on clues in the Bad Beginning Rare Edition(such as the pirates, the Royal Garden fire, the OFD)?
(Also, something I was thinking of just for fun: Considering the candidates we have, and perhaps some we don't, who would you choose to be our next President?)

Uh, question: Are Sir and Charles, um, gay? And if so, did they survive the fire? And are they in V.F.D. (there's SOO much evidence pointing to it, but no one has denied it or proved it ((trust me, I've tried)), so I NEED to know. ;D) Ohh, but I have sooo many more questions. I'll just stick with the Sir and Charles one.

If you could pose a question to an author as we are doing, who would the author be and what question would you ask?

@hotmaila Series of Unfortunate Events creates many questions in my mind, but one that I keep wondering whenever I'm reading one of Mr. Snicket's books is: How did Mr. Snicket come up with all the ideas for the books? Although there are still unanswered questions after reading the series, I found that many things are connected together from one book to another. When I read the Unauthorized Autobiography, there were lots of things that connected to the series. It just amazes me how somebody can come up with all of those details and put them together into 13 great books. So that's my question. It may not be as exciting as some of the questions that others have posted, but that is something that I've been wondering for a long time.

*is honored to be asking Mr. Snicket a question, even over the internet*
I... I'm not sure what to ask! *thinks long and hard*
Okay.
Question: You've come up with some great ideas and inspired me in many of my artistic endeavors, including writing. As an aspiring author, I know the trials and tribulations that an author has to go through - the planning, the preparation, the writer's block, etc. - but as a writer in your situation, there is probably more than just all that. What sort of things do you do/deal with as a writer, and what sort of situations do you find yourself in?

Question:
Will information on the sugar bowl, what became of the Quagmires, what became of the Baudelaires, or even the true meaning of V.F.D. ever be explained, or is it completely left up to the readers to draw their own conclusions. If so, how did you decide on this as the most effective way to end the series?

Question:
Are you interested in working on another Series of Unfortunate Events? If so, would it be based on the lives of characters that we have been introduced to before, like the Quagmires, or different people all together?

Mr. Snicket, before I address you with your question(s), might I say that you supplied me with the best birthday present I've ever received before. Last Halloween 2006, my mother drove me down to Ann Arbor, Michigan to see your presentation and meet your honorable self. And before I let myself blow, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANKS I extremely appreciate the chance to once again speak to you, and ask you the questions I was meaning to ask at our first encounter, but was cut short due to all your other fans asking you questions. So, Mr. Snicket, here are my questions:
The American game show Jeopardy, also near Halloween 2006, had a question about you and Mr. Handler's other books. If I can recall, it was, "This lemony author also wrote the books Adverbs and The Basic Eight." None of the contestants could answer! There was also another question in February, but I did not see it on the episode aired: "It is the appropriately-titled 13th and final book in A Series of Unfortunate Events." Yet again, none of the contestants could answer! Mr. Snicket, what do you think about the adult generation not knowing about your books, and how you have educated the youth about the Baudelaires, thus us knowing about A Series of Unfortunate Events?
If you had not written about the Baudelaires and their misfortunes, and you were in an underground rock band, who would be your bandmates, and would you one of you sport a mohawk?
Do you secretly own a pet?
Forgive me if I went over the one question only rule. It IS up to you, Trag, to decide which questions are the best.
