Please tell us what you know about the items on page 251 of The Penultimate Peril: Who the man was Where he went afterward The name of the woman who was hiding in the trunk The type of musical instrument that was laid carefully in the back seat The ingredients of the sandwich tucked into the glove compartment The small item (and its contents) that sat on the passenger seat, still damp from its hiding place The initials of the monogram on the napkin clutched in his trembling hand

So far, I like Sixteen's question the best. I hope it gets picked. I have another question that someone may already know the answer to. If so, please let me know. If not, please consider asking him: What word or phrase did Sunny speak in the Penulitimate Peril that was chosen by the First Amendment Project Auction winner?

No offence, but that's already been answered. I think it was Peter something.

Question: What do you dislike about Richard Scalia? I thought it was Anton or Antonin or something of the sort? Also, isn't it obvious? Will "The Baby in the Manger" ever see the light of day? Pirates or Ninjas? Defend your answer. Could you please provide us with a comprehensive list of your favorite books, movies, music, TV shows, etc.? Contrary to all appearances, this is not intended to be a yes or no question; please keep that in mind when answering. I support Sixteen and Mary and BSam and Antenora and J's questions so far, I think.

In The End, Sunny said "Jojishoji" (translated to "I don't believe that abridging the freedom of expression and the free exercise thereof is the proper way to run a community"). Joey Shoji won the auction to have Sunny say his name.

My questions are about The Basic Eight, if that's okay.
1. Flannery Culp compares her life to the Shakespearean play, Othello, the play in which she appears. Have you ever compared your life to a Shakespearean play? If so, why? If not, why not? 2. The Basic Eight is said to be "loosely based on" your own high school experience. Did you ever have an imaginary friend? Did you have your own basic eight? If so, why? If not, why not? 3. If an older reader were to ask you if they should read The Basic Eight first or A Series of Unfortunate Events, what would be your response? Why?

What do you think of West Virginia?
Do you derive pleasure from Dairy Queen milkshakes?
Would you wear a Nantucket red shirt with a seersucker jacket and madras pants?
Would you smoke a cigar in a leather chair in a mahogany room?
What is the most painful experience you have ever endured?
Hardee's or Arby's?

"What, in your opinion, was the darkest hour of the Baudelaires during the Series? And I mean "darkest" figuratively, not literally, so the literal darkness of the elevator shaft they spent time in does not count.
-Philip Jucker, Sydney"
And I support Shruti, Dante, Antenora and Old James' answers. I'd suggest avoiding actual content on the Series; he probably won't answer it. Try asking him personal questions.
