The things I miss when I don't have internet access...
I've been keeping out of this whole thing so far, but I have to say, Tragedy? That was so cool. I picture you suddenly appearing in the doorway, in a long, dark coat. Possibly with dramatic music and a puff of smoke.

I read the beginning of this thread yesterday and now finally have time to post in it. I must say, it lifted my heart. I knew ADR was bad news pretty much as soon as she became admin and though I didn't participate in any coups against her so to speak because I don't have much time these days, I really feel awful. I should have been with you guys and stood alongside the rebels against ADR. I had no idea how rude and how bad an admin she really was and I ought to pay more attention to 667. Honestly, she's the exact 667 version of Professor Umbridge. But we're saved! It's like the scene in Return of the Jedi after Vader and the Emperor are killed and everyone's celebrating. *confetti* The wicked witch of the west is dead or whatever that song is called is stuck in my head. But yeah, thank God Tragedy showed up at just the right time otherwise this place would have been in serious trouble.
Wow. This is interesting. A schism of sorts, took place in the early New Year, possibly earlier.
Well, the things I missed by only joining today. I would have thrown my lot in with PJ, Linda and everyone else opposed to the Big Bad Witch.
Did you know that I just read some of her posts, and she is as arrogant as Hell itself. I'm so glad that this glorious site is not demolished because of petty mismanagement and bad moral behavior.
However, I believe that the current Administrator should be more ... selective of choosing people to manage the Forum, rather than this pot-luck contest thing, because, as we all now know, it didn't end up too good.
Oh, I'm Coco Chef, but you can all me Martha J.S.K, or just Martha for short.
Wow. I haven't been around for awhile, but the holidays can be busy.
I was just hoping that ADR would lose her power. That was amazing!
Why do I end up missing the most interesting things when they happen?
Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it. - C.S. Lewis
Hmm, tomorrow is one week since ADR was banned, so who built the bomb shelter? *hide*
Ha. Theres going to be so much flaming going on. I wouldn't be surprised if someone got banned for flaming tomorrow.
What if she didn't even come back? That would be mysterious. A good thing because she didn't come back, but a bad thing because we all wanted to see her reaction to being banned as well as being kicked out of the admin position she was so easily handed.
Terry Craig: that was an ace retort tbh, jean

jeanlucio10: I would like to read now a short story written by Lemony Snicket about how VFD helped to defeat Nazism. This would be interesting to introduce the subject to children.

jeanlucio10: "Anne Frank - the Diary of a Young Girl",could be the book club's third book? I haven't read this one either.

Terry Craig: I think the historical events are interesting enough on their own, and don't need to be taught just to introduce children to Lemony Snicket.
