Behold 667's Murder Mystery!
Yes, yes! It's here! It's finally here! In this story, 10 667 members gather in a mansion, but one of them is a murderer. The question is: who? As the chapters go by, 667 members will go by, too, leaving only the hero and the killer at the end.
Now, read:
Chapter 1: Kate’s Mansion
Lauren looked over the horizon at the huge building down at the end of the black brick road. Her best friend, Kate, looked at her and saw the depression in her eyes.
“What’s wrong, Lauren?” She said, placing a hand on her best friend’s shoulder. “Don’t you like it? I built it for all of us 667 members, so we could get away from the misery and despair that this world calls civilization.”
“I like it.” Lauren said. She kept staring at the mansion. Now that this was built, what was she going to do with her life? When she lived here, what would happen to her family? Her little sister? Lauren’s mind was submerged in these thoughts. Her life would be changed forever. It would do good for her, but she was still worried of what her family would think and do.
The field around Lauren and Kate was empty, so they could feel the wind hustle around. It made Lauren’s blonde hair sway. It made Kate’s purple hair sway, too. There was a silence between the two friends that told them that they were both reconsidering this.
You see, or you may not see, that Kate built a mansion of her own, because she was depressed, and longed for loneliness. Her parents kept bugging her, and her computer crashed, so she couldn’t communicate with her friends from 667 Dark Avenue, the online forum, any longer. So, Kate ran away from home and stole money from banks. Within a day, she had enough money to build her own mansion. Who built it? People who do work in private. They don’t tell anyone about it. They take the money and leave, forgetting all about whoever they worked for. The mansion was now complete, and Kate was planning to invite all of her best friends to move in, which meant that they would run away from home.
Lauren stared deep into the mansion. It was the only thing besides the grass for miles and miles.
The mansion had a fence around it. The only door in the gate was the one in the front. When you walked through the door, there would be a straight small road of black bricks that lead to the mansion’s front door.
Lauren sighed. Life would never be the same, but she had to move in. 667 was the only thing that kept her living. And her younger sister. She would worry about her younger sister. Somehow she would communicate with her without Kate knowing about it.
“Just think.” Kate said. “You’ll be living in the same building as Tragedy...”
Lauren turned to her friend. “Oh, stop it. He’s just my friend. A good friend, but just a friend.”
“Oh yeah, sure, I believe you now.” Kate said, trying her best to cheer Lauren up. When Lauren didn’t respond, Kate made another comment. “Well, if you don’t love Tragedy, then you must love Tyler.” Kate grinned. That hit the spot.
“Kate!” Lauren said, narrowing her eyes at her best friend. “I’m going to kill you!”
Lauren chased Kate around the field, trying to tackle her. It was a moment that Lauren would always remember. Why? Besides her chasing her best friend for fun, it was also because Kate seemed please. Then Lauren immediately knew why.
“I know why you’re so happy! You’re going to be living with Chris!” The two friends playful chased each other on that sunny day, and lived happily ever after. ...That day, anyways.

Tyler opened his locker at school. Several books fell out, including his hard math book, which landed on his head.
“Ouch! Dammit.” He said, rubbing his sore head and picking up all the books he had dropped. As soon as all of the books that fell out of his locker were put back in again, Tyler ran to lunch. He had just come from a test that he had surely failed. He was at the entrance to the lunch room when all of a sudden he slipped and fell. The floor was slippery. Tyler rubbed his sore bottom. It hurt. Soon, some other seventh graders walked in and saw him on the floor.
“Haha!” One said. “Tyler’s picking his butt!”
Tyler glared at the kid, and stood up and got lunch. Today, it was hamburgers. After grabbing some french fries, he grabbed a ketchup bottle and squeezed it as hard as he could. Nothing came out. He looked in the little beak of where the ketchup came out. He squeezed it hard. “Why isn’t it coming out?” He muttered under his breath. Tyler squeezed it harder, and an explosion of ketchup flew into his blonde hair and all over his clothes. He was embarrassed, of course, and ran to put his tray of food at an empty table. He then ran to the bathroom and washed the ketchup off. He saw when he was done that there were stains all over his new clothes, and there were red steaks in his hair. He walked back to his empty table to read Julius Caesar. Tyler often sat alone, because people didn’t get along with him very well. He didn’t really care, because he was used to being alone.
The end of the day came quickly. Tyler missed his bus, because he couldn’t get his locker opened, so he had to wait at school for his mom to pick him up. She got out of work at 5:00 PM. The way home was rough. His mother kept lecturing him and he kept rolling his eyes. When they got home, Tyler ran to the mailbox to check the mail. There was a letter in there from-
“Kate in Kansas?!” He said out loud.
“What did you say?!” His mother said, walking up to the mailbox.
“Nothing.” Tyler said. He put the letter in his shirt (Where else could he put it where his mother wouldn’t see it?) And ran up tro his room to read the letter...

A few weeks later, everyone whom Kate had invited to her mansion was there. Everyone was gathered in a room with chairs and couches.
Lauren walked in and looked at everyone whom Kate had invited. “You only invited 8 people?” She whispered to Kate.
“Yeah.” Kate whispered back. “This is it.”
Lauren looked at everyone who was there: Tragedy, Jessica, Ann, Zach, Tyler, Pandora, Chris and Sam. Not a lot of people.
“You invited Tyler?!” Lauren whispered to Kate in awe.
“Yes, I did.” Kate whispered back. “Only because he started listening to The Magnetic Fields.”
“Oh.”
Lauren turned back to the members of 667.
“I’m glad you could make it here today.” She said. “Now, I know you left your luggage and belongings in the entrance hall, just so we could have some room for you. Now...” Lauren paced back and forth, looking at everyone on the couch and three chairs. “We will live in peace and harmony. However you got here-“
“Yeah yeah yeah.” Tragedy said impatiently. “Can you show us our rooms?”
Lauren blushed as the two girls sitting next to Tragedy- Jessica and Ann- giggled hysterically.
Lauren, still blushing, spoke weakly. “Oh, alright- Follow Kate if you want to see your rooms.”
Tragedy, Ann, Zach, Jessica and Tyler followed Kate upstairs. That left Lauren, Chris, Sam and Pandora in the room.
“I don’t know what else to say.” Lauren said.
“I’m hungry.” Sam said. “Can we have something to eat?”
“Er- sure.” Lauren said unsurely.
Sam, Chris and Pandora walked into the kitchen. Lauren sighed. ‘Pigs.’ She thought, and ran upstairs to where Kate and the rest were.
“...Tragedy, you can have this room.” Kate said, handing Tragedy a key. Tragedy inserted the key into the keyhole and turned it. The door to his new bedroom swung open. There was a room next to his-
“I want this room!” Ann said, lunging towards the door.
“Move out of my way, munchkin!” Jessica said, pushing Ann out of the way.
Kate gave Jessica the key and said, “There are two beds in there.”
“Awesome!” Ann said, and as soon as Jessica unlocked the door, both ran in.
“Lauren.“ Tragedy said. “Come in here for a minute.”
Lauren blushed, and walked in Tragedy’s room. He shut the door and sank into her eyes. “If anything ever goes wrong,” he said. “Let me know about it.” There was a romantic silence in which Lauren stared into Tragedy’s eyes. Then he walked her to the door, Lauren walked out and he shut it again. No one was in the hallway. Then she heard Kate scream from down the hall. Kate screamed at the top of her lungs, and shouted, “He’s got a knife!”
That chapter was long. Very long.
Anyways, this chapter was mainly from Lauren's point of view. Those who weren't really included in this chapter, you'll be involved alot more in later chapters.
Chapter 2 will be up ASAP. (:
EDIT: Oh, and by the way, that ketchup thing really happened to me.
