Happy screams echoed throughout the halls of the 667 Dark Avenue mansion. Tragedy looked up from his book, glaring at his door. He sighed an “I’m disappointed in you” sigh, and shook his head. They were probably n00bs, fangirls no less. Ugh, how he despised fangirls at times. His clock chimed. Two-o’clock! Where had the time gone? He had an important business meeting to attend to with his moderators. He walked into the hall and turned left, running into something that was all arms, legs, hair, wings, feathers, and sharp talons. “Sapphire, like I told you, don’t ru- oh, Dismay, its you. Well, that is disappointing. Please tell me why you were running.” Dismay looked at him. “We learned our favorite author was writing another book, and its soooooo exciting!” She started jumping up and down. The poor owl on her shoulder hopped onto Tragedy’s head. “So that was you screaming?” “Me, Sapphire, Izzy- uh-oh” she looked at him despairingly. “Not again!” “Yes, you three know that Izzy is not aloud here anymore because of the new age limits. You will have to meet somewhere else.” “But Tragedy” Dismay whined, “it’s not fair! The books 667 was founded upon were made for people much younger than us!” “I didn’t create these rules Dismay. What has happened to our three heroines? The three who saved us from the DT? Go on, I know you’ll just have to talk with my cousin. Go on, now, shoo. Take Arty with you, you know Antenora’s crow can’t abide owls during our moderator meetings.” Dismay raised her gloved arm. “Here boy!” The small northern saw-whet owl leapt onto her hand. “Let’s go find PJ and Dave, or whatever he calls his spoon now, for some food, since he became “apprentice chef”.” The little owl hooted indignantly. “And Despair, duh, we can’t forget him! Alright, up we go.” Bare feet walked the black carpets lining the halls, Dismay was on her way, yet again, to find her friend.
Tragedy looked at the members adjourned in the moderator's meeting. "So, other than a few age ban breakers, no trouble?" Antenora looked at him. "You mean you don't know yet?" She looked at Dante, her best friend from 667. "There has been a cry for help, sir, that we recegnise, but well, we don't exactly want to answer it." "Because-" "Because we don't know where its from." "Why can't we send out runners?" Dante stood. "Have you no feeling for the runners sir? How will they be able to go that far? Around the world? Its outragous!" "One word. Owls." "They could you know" Antenora said. She looked at Dante "I mean, one could carry one of your stones...." "No! I've made too many already." "Four!" swans shouted. "You young things really can be quite stubborn, can't you." "I know what you mean," interjected Pandora "they all seem to have caught the over-excitable bug. We all know that Dante and Antenora never, ever fight. No-one fights with Tragedy. swans doesn't yell." "Hmmm, Dismay was acting over-excitable too. SHe even whined to me. Something is wrong. I think its time the Alliance was brought in, except we still may not let Izzy in. She will have to be told otherwise."
And so the trouble begins.

This is interesting. Do continue it.
I liked the first Alliance story, too.

Thank you, one and all. Well, since I have nothing to do, I might as well write more!
"And then, he said that we still can't let Izzy come here anymore! Its so not fair!" "Dismay, you're overreacting. He never gets mad that easily.I should know, he's my cousin." "You get mad easily." "Don't remind me" said Despair. He had been trying to get Dismay to settle down for the past hour. It wasn't working. So now he was agitated. He felt something tickle his ankle. He looked down, half expecting to see some sort of bird. He was wrong. Four little rodents ran up his leg and into Dismay's lap. She smiled. "hupu gerbos." A peach colored male stepped forward. We bring you tidings from Gen'ral. He says strange activity in west. We investigate, strange illness. It come here now. We not carry though. Visitor carry from over water. It make people act funny. Arty say you be happy, then sad. All due to illness. Dismay dipped her head to her gerbil. "Thank you Math. I now have to bring this news to Tragedy." The only female gerbil, a lilac color, hopped up to her in the way only gerbils can walk. We worried about you. Ghost worried too. We come with you. One of the male gerbils, who was all black with a white chin and front paws, started nudging her. The female gerbil pushed him away. He just say no ride, all is well. "Twilight Tim, I should have known! Thanks Mare-mare. Despair, are you coming too? This news is urgent for Tragedy to hear." Despair looked at her and shook his head. Whatever they told you, you had been the one who heard it, not me. You go. Wait a sec, they're calling you and Sapphire right now. You'd better go." So, with four gerbils in hand and an owl on her shoulder, Dismay went to the Moderator's meeting.
"So Dismay, you heard from this General person-" "It's Gen'ral sir, and he's a robin. He's a little crazy, mind you, but an all around good robin." "So he was out scouting, and he just happened to find this place that was combating sickness. And he somehow got ahold of your gerbils, and they found it?" "Yessir." "By Lemony, I think we found the place we had been looking for!" Sapphire looked at her esteemed leader. "Huh?" "We received a distress call, and we want you three to help them, especially since this is a threat to 667 as we know it. Alliance, I want you to go to these people and offer your services. And bring back a cure!" "We will sir" Dismay said.

Trish and PJ were looking into a large pot of soup. "You think they'll eat it?" "Don't know." "Should we try it?" "No!" "You made it. So they're sending out the Alliance, huh?" "Yep." "You helped them last time, right?" "Yep." "And you don't get to go?" "Yep." "That's unfair." "Yep." "PJ, come on, say something other than yep." "Alright then. Well, I think my services will be called upon sooner or later." "No more owl doo stew! No more owl doo stew!" "Char, its not owl doo!" Trish looked in the stewpot. "It really does look like owl doo." "I know." "OH."
Um, I've run out of ideas for blend. More soon.

I like the "By Lemony!" line. An appropriate exclamation.
The Gen'ral sounds interesting.

I wish I could take a picture of the robin I based him on next time he "visits". Man, that bird is annoying! He attacks ou front door on rainy days. Only in the morning too. Wow, I just realized poor Ghost has not come in yet! She will soon.

Thanks to all who have commented, and yes Dante, those were nice comments. Sorry, but I think this section could have used some work.
The Chaotic Creativity room was very quiet. Almost too quiet for some. The CC room was actually much smaller than some of the others. It had a large bulletin board for the newest works, filing cabinets for the old, and places for the authors to write and/or draw, or discuss their work with fellow members. It was steadily becoming Dismay's favorite. She walked past the large board, half expecting for there to be a new story written by Dante or Akbar. No, they were not there at the time. She looked up at one of her own works and noticed that there were a few new comments. Not one was bad. All of a sudden, she heard a loud scratching against one of the windows. She looked up, and saw something that was totally ridiculous, but to her it was normal. SHe looked over at one of the CC room's new bird perches, and nodded to Ghost, her main owl. She flew over to the window and opened it up. Dismay looked at the disgruntled robin that had been attacking the window. She gave him a half-salute, because she was embarassed at how she looked saluting to a robin. "Morning Gen'ral! How are you today sir?" Amber, who was sitting on a comfy chair, looked over at her, and tried to listen in on the robin's conversation with Dismay. I'm fine miss, and hold it, why isn't your owl at attention? "I don't know sir. Ghost." The owl stood as streight as she could, which is hard for an owl to do. Thank you miss. Now, I sent a message to you through some very very reliable rodents, did you recieve it? "Aye sir. Thank you. Actually, Tragedy, our leader, wants to speak with you." I would love to see your esteemed leader. Oh yes, and I have brought a new friend. Thought her tail was a worm, but lets not mention that around her shall we? Katie dear, Katie! With that, the eccentric robin flew up to the windowsill and peered out. Ah, yes, here she comes. Just please tell your owl not to eat her. Dismay was about to ask why, but the new animal entered into the room. It was a young REW (red eyed white) female mouse. She scurried to Dismay. I have come, Dismay, to tell you about what was once my home. It was overtaken by the sickness. Please help. Dismay knelt down. "I will little one." The mouse crawled into her hand. Amber got up. She was worried about what she had heard. Ennui had told her about the cry for help, and this sickness, but what were they going to do about it? She walked over to Dismay. "You know, I think I have an idea about how to solve this problem, but I think we should meet with Tragedy first." "OK. You want to hold Katie?" "Um, no thanks. Well, she is pretty cute. I don't know. Lets wait for a while." "Alright. Mice can be tough to handle for most people. Hey, wait a sec, had you been listening into my conversation with Gen'ral?" Amber nodded. "And I have an idea on how to get this done much faster."
They walked on, and passed the infirmary, where all sick or injured members (and animals, if need be) were treated. They heard moaning coming from inside. Katie quivered inside Dismay's hands. The sickness, the sickness, its the sickness! Keep away! Both humans looked at each other. Amber peeked at the list of who was on duty. "Oh, its OK, I know who's in there. She knocked on the door. "Hey, um, could you tell me what the sick person has?" The voice from behind the door was urgent. "Its more than one, and they're fading fast! We don't know what to do. They've got high fevers, and we might need to quarentine parts of 667." Both youths looked at each other. The sickness had come.
- - - - - - - -
"So you, eh, Katiemouse, believe that this sickness will kill off 667 just like at your old home. Where is your old home, by the way? What is it called?" Tragedy asked. He was pacing. It is west. It has no real name. It is home of Blue Lady. "Blue lady?" She was always in blue. "Really. Did she have a name?" No sir, not that I heard, but then again, I was in the kitchens most of the time. My friend, my friend, she caught sickness too, and die. We were pets of Blue Lady, but she so worried about family, she let me go. my firned died before. She had sickness. I don't know what causes it. It very bad. Blue Lady need help. Gen'ral tell me this is last safe place. "Is this true Gen'ral" Yes sah, it is quite true. Many places around you have succumbed to the sickness, but now even here, the last safe place, has gotten it." Antenora stood. "Here?" "Yes, we passed the infermary. The people inside are scared. We have to do something. Amber had an Idea." "Yes, please tell us Amber." Amber swallowed. She knew this idea could be part of their last hope.
