Mr. Poe a woman?
I have reason to believe Mr. Poe is a woman, and think he is working with Olaf. The images you reveal on the nameless novel. Show a woman with a top hat and mustache at her feet drilling a hole, there are also eyes on the jar next to her. There is an eye in the darkness of the elevator shaft, and then the last picture, Mr.Poe going down the elevator.
We all know that a top hat is included in the VFD disquise kit, we also know that a mustache is NOT included.
In the Rare Edition notes it implies that Mr. Poe is hiding something under his top hat, considering the pictures the woman's (or can I say Mr.Poe's bun?) Seems a logical answer.
The last thing that adds to this is, Mr.Poe is always coughing, could it be because he is a she and she has to cough due to talking so low all the time?
Also, it seems in the page you uncover (also on NN) that Mr.Poe is in cahoots not only with Olaf, but with Nero (and are Mr.Remora and Mrs.Bass? the two teachers mentioned?) Sunny is in a room (it's scratched out and we cannot see where it is.) And by the window she sees a pile of large bulky bags each with MULCTURARY MONEY MANAGEMENT stamped on them. Hmmm... here is the page typed up:
"Sunny tilted her head so she ould stare past the teachers's knees, and made her first imposrtant observation ad a flaneur. Piled on a table in the ____ right near a window overlooking the sea, was a large, bulky pile of large bulky bags, each with the words PROPERTY OF MULCTUART MONEY MANAGEMENT stamped on them in stern black ink. The youngest Baudelaire could not imagine why ____ was in the possesion of something from the bank where Mr. Poe worked, but with two teachers and one vice princial waiting impatiently in the hallway, she had no time to stop and think. With another tactiurn gesture, she quickly led the guests toward the elevstor, grateful that ____ ____ knew the location of the resturant. The youngest Baudelaire would have no idea how to find an Indian resturant in the ____ ____ without a catalog.
