My theories are:
That the Baudelaire parents are still alive. The 'rents escaped the house before it was burnt down. Olaf set fire to the house thinking the 'rents are still inside. Do you agree or not? Please post ur answers . . .

Doubtful. I think Mr. Baudelaire died because of the "men in the baudelaires' lives never rising up again" quote in tss. But I think Mrs. Baud survived due to evidence in bbre.

I too disagree. Mr. Snicket put that some dead men in the Baudelaire's lives are gone and never able to rise up again. But I guess the theory is that Mrs. Baudelaire is still maybe alive. Who knows what Mr. Snicket will come up with, let alone, what he has in mind.
