If we're going by the books, I would have chosen Legolas because he has a more obvious sense of humour in there. "...But I say: Let the ploughman plough, and the otter swim; but for running light over leaf and grass, or snow, then call an Elf!" *runs away on top of the snow* (That was cool. And adorable. And HOT! ...Even though at the time I'd never seen the movies and had no idea of Orlando Bloom back then and my unreasonable fondness for Elves was mostly founded on my OPINION.) ...Ahem. But in the movie he sort of turned into this quiet pretty boy, so he lost some points for that. So I chose Galadriel. "In place of a Dark Lord, you would have a Queen! And I shall not be dark, but beautiful and terrible as the Morning and the Night! Fair as the Sea and the Sun and the Snow upon the Mountain! Dreadful as the Storm and the Lightning! Stronger than the foundations of the earth. All shall love me and despair!" Now THAT is ambition. I mean, I knew Elves glowed in the dark but she was a freakin' LIGHTHOUSE! Har!

hehehe. Yeah Legolas was somewhat quiet in the movies now that you mention it. Galadriel's pretty awesome, everyone's afraid of her, even the people in Rohan and Gondor. And everyone loves her hair. I find it funny that she gave some to a dwarf but refused to do so for her own uncle. I was glad that in the end she got to back into the west where she came from.

It is, some thought it caught the light of the golden tree and held onto it.

I'd have to say, Elrond. Because he is magical and can use foresight.

The only magic I think he has is Vilya, the ring that keeps Rivendell forever young. He was Earendil's kid though, that counts for something.

Well there's some talk about him when the fellowship's at Elrond's house, you could start there.

Earendil's your favourite elf, Jacques? I like him, but he's a bit too mythically stereotypical. Or something along those lines.
Galadriel is my favourite charcacter in the whole series, forget the race. <3
