Ok so now I'm totally a Doctor Who fanatic I think. I decided that I want to watch ALL of the Classic Whos! Thus far I'm about halfway into the third season of the first doctor and I've even watched the recons of the episodes that have been lost. It's going to be tough for the second doctor because hardly any of his episodes exist anymore but I'm going to read the darn scripts if I have to!

just remember some of the old stories are absolute rubbish Well, that's true of any show. Super stoked for the last three specials. I just hope RTD does David and all the other actors involved here justice.

I am currently on the Pertwee era. I'm in his third season which is the 9th season so far (I think?) and I'm not loving Pertwee as much as the other doctors. He's just a bit too mean to the Brig and I love the Brig. And I'm definitely ready for his exile on earth to be over. Don't get me wrong, I love Pertwee, just I think he's my least favorite so far. I've decided that 2 is my Doctor, unless 4-8 blow me away or something, I really love the Trout. And I have a giant crush on Jamie.
Anyone wanna talk about Who with me or have we exhausted this topic?

lifetheuniverseandcombom.blogspot.com/Scroll down a little and look at the right hand side of the page. Where it says "watch classic doctor who" it has links to almost all of the episodes. There are a few from Troughton's era that aren't there, but I just read the scripts for those because I'm a nerd. Most of Troughton's and a few of Hartnell's had been canned so they come reconstructed by fans. They have audio for every episode, and most have a few telesnaps so they reconstruct them with those, and some are better than others. That can be pretty frustrating, especially when you watch like 5 in a row that are all recons, but it's better than nothing! Despite them, the Second Doctor reigns supreme with me! gallifreybase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=841 You have to create a username and password for this forum, but I've been using this to find out the order of the episodes, and I've been reading people's thoughts on them! I haven't participated though because I'm wayyyyy behind!! So anyway, no excuses! Hehe... I thought the same thing at first. I sort of wanted to watch Classic Who but they only have so many available on Netflix but after I watched the very first episode I absolutely loved it and knew I had to find a way to watch them all!! Petebad thinks I'm weird.

I've only watched a few Fourth Doctor episodes - those were the first I ever saw, even before I saw the new series. I'd highly recommend The City of Death, because it was written by Douglas Adams and is hilarious. The Shada webcast is also by him, and well worth it - Shada is also fantastic, showing an un-canon 9th Doctor.
The Five Doctors is also pretty cool, although it's a shame that they couldn't get Tom Baker for it...
Oh! And I've seen quite a few of the Dalek episodes, though mostly only with the Fourth Doctor.

I can't wait to get to the Douglas Adams episodes. I am just finishing the Fourth Doctor's second season. I started watching Classic Who from the beginning in August... wonder how long it will take me to finish! I absolutely love the Brig and I'm sad that he's mostly gone now! I also want to watch the Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood when I get through with Classic Who. And whatever other spin-offs there were.

I love the fact this is like the only show we get in the UK before anywhere else in the world that I like. Well.. the little time that it's on. Can't wait for next year's full series; RIP David Tenant (a bit early but still...).
