Although everyone here is aware how much I loathe the french publishers of Asoue, I must admit that the "book trailers" they made, recycling Helquist illustrations, are pretty good. Some of these include remixes of famous classical pieces, which Handler wouldn't have frowned upon. Here are the links to the trailers which are listed in the left up corner of the screen : www.nathan.fr/orphelinsbaudelaire/Not all of their past marketing campaigns were that inspired, however. Some time ago their webpage had a short movie featuring a very unconvicing Liam Aiken look-alike in order to exploit the movie's fame. It was lulzworthy.

Hey, these are really good! They're rather like the first of the Vile Videos, 12 Books in 120 Seconds. It's also interesting that Nathan's apparently investing in a new aSoUE marketing push. I'm sure that HarperCollins and Egmont put a lot of money into promoting the series, but it's not quite so visible as these videos. (That and HarperCollins seems to have pretty much bailed on the series at this point. We'll see what Little, Brown & Co. do.)

I feel there's a Monty Python influence.
