You can vote now until the first of May - 9 am GMT - 2am Central Time - 5 pm Australian Eastern Time
The polls won't be locked then, because the results shouldn't be visible before the award presentations, but the results will be taken at that time.
Anka, could the polls be moved to a closed board when the voting finishes? It would be confusing if people went on voting after the official close and so when the results were revealed they didn't fit the actual awards.
'The difference between the two sides of the schism is that one side puts out fires, and the other starts them' - Klaus Baudelaire.
I think that could be possible, but I wouldn't be able to do it, and the problem is that I can't change it anymore now. I know that it would be confusing, but I hope people wont go on voting. If anyone votes after that time I will PM the person and tell them to retract their vote.
Sorry, I was confused. I saw that I wrote 9am GMT and thought "Oh no, 9am is already over" and now I realised that I'm an hour ahead. Please pretend this was written in 20 minutes:
Please don't vote anymore. The polls aren't locked yet, but the voting time is officially over and the results will be taken as they are now. I know that it would be possible to move the threads to a section with password or something like that, but I think it will also work like that. If anyone still votes, I will PM them and tell them to retract their vote, but I don't think that will happen.
Terry Craig: that was an ace retort tbh, jean

jeanlucio10: I would like to read now a short story written by Lemony Snicket about how VFD helped to defeat Nazism. This would be interesting to introduce the subject to children.

Terry Craig: I think the historical events are interesting enough on their own, and don't need to be taught just to introduce children to Lemony Snicket.
