The polls are made now, and you can vote until Wednesday the 14th of may. As you can see the polls won't be locked there, but the results will be taken on that day at 8:30pm GMT. I just have no other way (which I can do completely by myself) to make the results invisible until after the award presentations than leaving it open longer. To make sure that everything is right I will make screenshots of the results at the time they will be counted, but please just don't vote after that. It worked well last year, so it should be okay this time too.

I think anka said elsewhere this is the case so that the polls aren't visible to us when they lock. At the time of polls ending she'll screenshot the results or something.

That is correct. It's to keep the results hidden until after the awards presentations. Any votes cast after the official deadline will not be counted.

move them all at the exact moment the polls close?
a margin of error is needed, may as well make it a nice big one.

I think it is possible but not without the help of an admin. At least there is no board which I can see but other people not. And it perfectly worked this way last year, so there is no reason why there should be a problem this year.

I have all voting threads including poll results open right now, all of them loaded at 22:30 my time which is 21:30 GMT. Now I will take screenshots and these results will count. We can all be excited for the award presentation this weekend now Don't forget to prepare a presentation if you are doing one. I will send the complete results to the presenters and the winner's names to the banner makers. Some will be sent now, and some tomorrow morning, so don't wonder if you don't have anything until tomorrow. Screenshots will only be sent or posted (posted of couse only after the presentations anyway) only if anyone wants a proof.

So the awards are going to be presented on Saturday and Sunday, right? Does it matter what order people present them, or do they just sort of space them out, one every couple of hours?
