Perhaps someone has noticed this before me, but I wanted to bring it up because I haven't seen anyone mention it.
On the back cover of each book, in the bottom right corner, is a picture of someone's face. For books two and three, it's clear that this someone is Hangfire: he's masquerading as Colonel Colophon in the second book, and the image is his bandaged face and his eyes through the slit; he runs around Stain'd in book three wearing a mask, and the image is his eyes behind the mask. This would suggest that the face found on the back cover of book one in the bottom right corner is also Hangfire, and, as such, is our only image of his actual face. While I don't think it should be in doubt at this point who exactly the villain is, given the look of the man's eyebrows, and given what Lemony notes about Ellington's eyebrows, I think this is just one more nail in the coffin: Hangfire is, no doubt, Armstrong Feint.

That's probably true. That would mean that Ellington is really a villain masquerading as a volunteer.

I don't think that follows at all. She may be perfectly genuinely trying to get her father back, not aware that he is Hangfire. (I don't think she has ever met him in his Hangfire identity.)

The repeated appearance of Hangfire's image in the same place on each back cover is one of those nice little touches on each cover. What will we see for the fourth book, I wonder? I should note that we've also seen Hangfire's silhouette on the front cover of each book, but all that really tells us is that he's a snappy dresser.
Anyway, I do agree that the eyebrows on ?1's image evoke Ellington's; indeed, the official ATWQ social media pages have mistaken the image for one of Ellington. But the corresponding panels on ?2 and ?3 make clear who it has to be.
