Nobody tell Aunt Josephine about this thread.
As for the poll itself, there's no guarantee that a third series would be from a Snicket's perspective - well, no, that's not quite true: It would be told from Lemony Snicket's perspective, because he's the author and narrator of the ASoUE/ATWQ universe (Averse for short), but it wouldn't necessarily be about any Snicket (which I think is the real question being asked). Nonetheless, I'd pick Jacques, because he's always been terribly undeveloped and I've always wanted his death in TVV to become retrospectively more tragic.

C.M. Kornbluth, but most of all just anything about that headquarters and the science side of vfd.
Tbh you could write numerous sequels just from all the strands and unresolved threads and fragments of all the bigger pieces of vfd hidden throughout asoue and atwq. I desperately hope the tv series tries to incorporate some of this.

I still want the epic saga of Kit and Olaf, so Kit. But I don't think that it would be that likely because Lemony doesn't seem like the kind of person to snoop in on relationships and he's the ASOUE/ATWQ narrator. And it would just be a bit weird if it was told from Kit's POV, as in she wrote it.

I apologize for the lack of the "other" option, I am just so intrigued by the Snickets.

it's fine. i personally would love to see practically anything regarding vfd, more specifically a spin-off regarding the day-to-day lives of other members of vfd with asoue characters occasionally getting mentioned. also something about the general history of vfd (how did it start? who founded it?), possicle branches of the organization around the world, etc.
i would also be so down for a book about mr. poe.

I interpreted it as "who would be the first-person narrator in a third series, if you could choose?", not "who would be the main subject?" (meaning that "Lemony Snicket", not "the Baudelaires", would be the answer if the question was about ASOUE), but you could well be right. It looks like I'm the only person to choose Lemony, because I'm incredibly boring. i would also be so down for a book about mr. poe. I'd enjoy a book about Mr. Poe's hat.

I think there should be a series about life at VFD, which would be the most amazing thing! But judging by his secretive writing style, that probably won't happen.
