pretty sure it's just futura bold or a slight variation. i really dig covers like this that are just a solid color, a picture, and a simple font, but there's something so intangibly tasteful and powerful about it that it catches your eye.

ah, the wes anderson-font, yes, it almost is (the G, K, R differ the most, though). i appreciate that aesthetic as well, but it usually depends on the content too, i.e. it works best with a catchy title, and/or a title in some kind of contrast with the picture (which the above cover fulfills)
