A meme is just something that is shared a lot on the internet. I'm old and remember the pre-I can has cheeseburger days when people used to send funny chain emails and those were considered memes even though they were usually just text. A meme was often also a quiz or questionnaire; you got sent a list of questions and told 'do this meme'. (Before that it was a scientific, or at least sorta scientific, concept, created by Richard Dawkins, and referred to any ongoing cultural phenomenon which has a kind of life of its own.)

I think it still is, though. Real life graffito like 'Kilroy was here' or 'ACAB' are memes, too, if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, certainly; people aren't going to give the traditional sense up just because it also means 'pictures of cats', any more than they would stop using 'spam' to mean 'processed meat'. I just meant this sense was there first.

Now that's a daring outfit. Don't like the popped collar though (esp. paired with the shades).

when is it acceptable to pop your collar, if not when it's multicolored?

well this thread just tripled in awesomeness.
Also, why am I suddenly finding myself agreeing so often with Terry? Am I getting some disease?
Or could it be that the sores emerging from my body are just budding friendship!

Nah it's a disease.
Nice jacket except for the sleeve ends, bandit.

WELL I HATE THE WRIST THING. SO THERE.
As bear knows, our rival clothing brands have differing opinions on how sleeves should end.
