So I stumbled upon a piece of info I didn't know about before: that some (or at least TWW) of the ASoUE audiobooks had "interactive features" when used on the computer: - a word game - photographs - Brett Helquist art I briefly searched this sub-forum and didn't find anything about that. I expect the artwork is just the illustrations from the books, and the word game something like the games on Snicket's erstwhile official website... Idk what the photos could be, though. Just out of curiosity, does anybody have, or ever had access to these features (and care to describe or upload them)?

I was given The Wide Window audiobook for like my eighth birthday, and although I didn't take care of anything as a child, I do believe I have a couple of the CDs lying around. I think only the first disc had anything interactive, but I'll see if I can't find it and let you guys know.

I have all the UK versions of the audiobooks and the only one which has enhanced features is The End. I guess it must vary from country to country.

Really hoping you can find it if you get a spare moment to look for it, Mr. Dent! gothicarchiesfan Can you tell us what kind of features your TE audio book had? Bonus features from any one of the audio books from any country are of interest to me.

This may be a slightly different subject, but so long as we're discussing the audiobooks and their interesting features, I thought I might as well ask something I've been wondering for some time, as it may be of interest to some of you: has anyone else noticed that there is some missing content from the audiobook of The End? I don't know if it's the same in all copies, but the one I bought from iTunes misses out about three pages near the beginning (when the Baudelaires and Olaf are still aboard the boat and the storm hasn't even begun). When I bought it (years ago now) I sent a message to iTunes about it and they advised re-downloading it, but after doing that the problem persisted, so I suppose the file for those three pages is just missing. I don't know if it's the same on the CD version, and I've never been able to find any mention of such a problem online ...

Bonus features from any one of the audio books from any country are of interest to me. My audiobook of The End has the exact same features as advertised on that copy of the Wide Window. They were also exactly as you imagined. There was a special program you could open on a mac or a pc if you put the CD into their computer drive, whose layout resembled the Snicket Website. The Brett Helquist Gallery was just a collection of the illustrations (highly compressed to fit on the disc). The Perplexing Word Game was simply that, a word game similar to the flash games on the Snicket Website. Photos from the Lemony Snicket Archives was a collection of pictures of Daniel Handler where he was obscured in some way, much like his author photos. :Edit: Just glancing at Amazon, it seems like all the US Audiobooks had these features, apart from The Bad Beginning and The Reptile Room.

I tried opening the program on my computer yesterday and couldn't since the software it was using has long since been out of date. It doesn't really matter though since as far as I can recall, the photos weren't particularly memorable.
