I didn't know where to put this, but I've come across a video where J. Peterson talks about the necessity for heroes (in stories) to become monsters in order to then choose to be virtuous, which I thought also fits perfectly with the Baudelaires' moral dilemmas in the last few episodes (of course, in the books, too)--something Klaus acknowledges when he tells Fiona they're not entirely harmless (paraphrase), or when he says "We're innocent...enough": videoMight serve as an interesting footnote to the themes the show's writers dealt with this season. I've listened to a recent interview (March 7, 2019) with Daniel Handler where he talks about the above mentioned aspect of ASoUE: This only becomes relevant in the second half of the series, which is mostly represented by Netflix's third season, so I thought I'd add this to my previous post. It's nothing new in terms of insight to the series, but it seems to me that the show writers took this element to heart in the Netflix adaptation.

Neat behind the scenes video of Jim Dooley's scoring process and possibly the only official behind the scenes video we've had for season 3. :Edit: Liam R. Findlay might find this particularly interesting, given his efforts to have the show's score released.

The art and music of ASOUE's Netflix series is truly amazing.

Really really weird thought, but in THH, when Olaf asks Violet if she’s ever been hunting - I think it would’ve been more in-character for her to reply that she had been.
It’d be more fitting if she said something like “Pheasants - with my father.” or something along those lines.

Hey, just dropping by!
Randomly had an urge to watch S3 again so I've been doing that this weekend.
I just love this series so much! Although different in many aspects from the books I just see the majority of changes as additional information or even improved in some way.
Of course in the books many things are meant to be left unanswered but I do like that the answers they give us. They're either based on either heavy implications from the books or strong fan theories so they are satisfying enough for most of us.
I particularly love the flashbacks of the VFD members throughout, giving us more insight to their connections to each other.
The ending with Beatrice and Lemony is so beautiful too.

Definitely late to the party, but this sums up how I feel about the adaptation as a whole.

I’m late too but what was the deal with Esmé and the crow sausages in TPP? And why on earth did Olaf call her up at the trial in the first place? So. Many. Questions!
