Which of thirteen ASoUE books was best adapted in show and which one was the worst? It would be great to see the rate
In my opinion TBB was definitely best adapted, while TSS is the definitely the worst adapted one. TPP is the second worst to me I guess. I find the season 3 the lamest in general so books from tenth to thirteenth would be all in bottom four in my ranking list if I did it. TSS would definitely rank #13.
I will make a ranking later.

Ooh, this is fun to think about.
Best: TBB (It was just amazing!) TPP (It was everything I hoped for and more.)
Worst: TMM (Didn't like the transition between TWW & TMM) THH (It's too scary!) TGG (Where was Widdershins?!?) TE (Didn't like how shortened it was.)

My favorite, adaptation wise, are TMM, THH and TPP. The Miserable Mill has the cleverest adaptation, I feel. Many of the early books are filled with new scenes and subplots to help them match the later books in tone, but The Miserable Mill is the first time the new content is woven into the original story in a way that feels organic and satisfying. The new take on Dr. Orwell is delightful, and makes sense retrospectively with the show's take on Olivia Caliban. The Hostile Hospital is another delight, and it's dripping with deliciously dark humor. Esme's brilliant in these episodes, and the show manages to make Hal's kindness and the Baudelaires eventual betrayal feel both overwrought and entirely sincere. The Penultimate Peril was wildly different than I'd imagined, and wildly different than what the writers had originally wanted, but it rings so very true, and Justice Strauss' return is cathartic and heartbreaking and everything I wanted it to be.
My least favorite adaptations are TAA, TVV and TGG. The Austere Academy felt too fast and underdeveloped, although Olivia Caliban is a light in the darkness and I adore every scene she appears in. The Vile Village was the dullest adaptation, and Hector's character suffered terribly. The Grim Grotto was, again, underdeveloped, and I was very disappointed in the show's manner of visualizing The Medusoid Mycelium.

I enjoyed it enough to not put in my in bottom three but Olivia Caliban is definetely my least favorite thing about TAA and season 2 in general( slthough I guess this character becomes a problem to me only in TCC, I wouldn't mind same character under different name in TAA, TEE, TVV if she, for example, was killed with Jacques). I didn't like it too.

I hated TGG with all my might. I can't even talk about how frustrating this episode was. Captain W is gone. Fiona didn't go to GG. Quigley took the sugar bowl. Sunny wasn't in the helmet. They used flashlights in the water. There is no swimming woman. AA is 5 meters high from GG. JS did not send the telegram to Poe. The episode I liked the most TAA. Because of Carmelita.

I’m gonna cast my vote here for TCC and TE. TE isn’t necessarily as faithful to the source material as some of the other adaptations, but it features some of the best writing in the series and is probably the best piece of television the show has to offer.
Maybe, I just have a thing for carnivals, but I loved TCC. The atmosphere was gritty and dark and whimsical all at the same time. I also think the child actors really got to show off their acting chops here, as they were able to get away from their usual stilted and wooden dialogue and (to me) felt like real people for the first time.
