Ok, I'm assuming that this is where this should go ... I was wondering, are there any ASoUE doujinshi(fan-comics) or any Japanese fan-sites? I'm sorry if this isn't allowed or the wrong place for this kind of question ... ;.;

I don't really know where to look, but why would you want them in Japanese?

I think Lynchii means like Manga. But if you dont, Lynchii, I think I may be able to help you.
Ive come across the Chinese (I think) official site for the LS books, so I guess that would at least give you a taste of other countries' stuff. but I cant find a manga or anything like that, so Im sorry.

Mr.OlafA, there's no 'N' in my name but yes, I do mean like manga. I find doujinshi of western things (LotR, Harry Potter, etc.) and Asian fan-sites to be very amusing because they tend to have gag comics and diffrent art styles. (some are downright scary ..)
Anywho, thank you. ^_^

Oh man, I wish. ASOUE fan-anything is fairly nonexistent in Japan from what I've seen, which is pretty much extensive Googling. I found ONE fanart that has disappeared by now.
Snicket + Japan + good art + slash + Engrish = WIN

Woah those are cool. I wish I could draw like that *sigh*. I liked Moony. I felt sorry for him there... and that doesn't very happen.

No, I WISH ;D. I found the site while surfing the net. I really would like to see ASOUE fan art like that. Maybe after the movie....when it gets a wider fan base?

I dunno, the movie could actually put people off of the books because of all the actor's/actreses they have that you've never heard of (accept Jude Law and Jimbob) and the way it looks at the moement don't you all just reckon it looks a bit on the shabby side........

I decided a week or so ago that I was going to attempt to draw an ASoUE doujinshi, and I've already gotten some of the characters drawn for it (The Baudelaires, Isadora, Olaf, and Esmé)... I'd scan some of it, but my scanner's being stupid and freezes up my computer when I try to use it.... I'll look for some, though.

Oh my god, "newbie", suddenly I feel a certain dislike toward you for what you just said. Shabby?! How the heck does the movie look at all"shabby?" The sets and costumes are great, the actors are top notch and most of them are very well-known(no, not everyone sees movies just for the actors in it, by the way). How could not knowing the actors make a person not see the movie? Some people will be put off because of Jim, but thats about all I can think of. The movie wont put people off the books, and its likely to draw a big crowd. Wow, I wish I could type my anger, but then Id get banned from 667.
I anticipate your doujinshi thang!
Sorry for putting an "N" in your name, Lychii, sometimes Im busy reading too quick to notice. lol
