I wonder how they'll cope without a news page. Probably alright; I don't think they ever really said anything that couldn't have been done without a little feature on the front page. Not that it matters, since it's more of an aSoUE site than a Snicket site, and I'm not sure if they're publishing Snicket's next books.
Also, I see they're still denying the existence of TBL.

They finally added the End game. You control Ishmael who is shepherding the sheep around. I suck at it. The sheep always drown for me.

(December 22nd) I think it's quite funny, because a while ago, I was coming up with ideas for how the game could be a huge let-down, and one of my ideas was that it'd just be Ishmael herding sheep. I'm not sure that the game was worth two months of hype and three exclamation marks. That said, it's very well-made and even has, uh, somewhat limited voice acting. Not how I imagined Ishmael would sound, but it's there. Edit: UE.com now has its own " Vile Videos" page, which includes Egmont's TV ad for the series, and a video of a performance Handler did for TPP in New York (I believe it's the one that was broadcast to many other theatres via satellite link).

The Vile Videos page is interesting. I liked the Handler interview especially. I usually don't go on unfortunateevents--it's kind of an odd site--and personally, I really don't see the whole point of it. I mean, the animation's nice, but it's a little overdone/too flashy, especially the little books on wooden clips thing. It seems like they're trying to show off the hi-tech-ness of their site...which defeats the purpose of a navigatable site because little things like pop-ups for information pages are confusing (I tend to think that they are ads, so I close out of them). I never understood pop-up layouts...
