The 667 Awards are turning out to be more successful than we could have hoped. A total of 20 667ers nominated, and many of them have shown a great deal of enthusiasm.
The original plan was going to be that the top three 667ers in each category would be listed. With several categories, that is still the case. However, in other categories, there were ties, and so to make things fairer, every person who received two or more nominations was included. In fact, in two categories, there was one very obvious winner in each category, and in an attempt to be fair every nominee was included. Here are the results:
The Best Staff Member: Gigi, Dupin, Swans, Dante, Derik, Antenora
667’s Hardest Worker: Dupin, Tragedy, Gigi
Best Female All-Around: Alice, Annelise, Linda
Best Male All-Around: PJ, Akbar, Derik, Luis
The Nicest 667er Award: Linda, Kimia, Deanna, Gigi, Dupin, Antenora
The 667 Humor Award: PJ, BSam, Pandora, Derik
The 667 Skilled Debater Award: Swans, Akbar, PJ
The 667 Investigator: Dante, PJ, Antenora, Rock Sunner, Jedi Master Jacques
The 667 Creativity Award: Skeleton Key, Alice, Akbar, Dupin
The 667 WSW Award: Dupin, BSam, Lauren, Alice, Linda
First-round voting will begin now. To vote, PM me (username lindarahldeen) with up to one vote per category. You must vote for the above people in their respective categories; all votes that do not obey this rule will be nullified. Each category will be narrowed down to two final nominees in this first round of voting. Voting will end on Saturday at 9 pm GMT, and the results will be posted shortly thereafter, with instructions for the final round of voting.
The final awards show will take place during the weekend of March 25th or March 26th, depending on what timezone you live in. It will likely begin around noon of GMT, and one award will be given every hour or two until every award has been given. Several special surprises are being prepared for the awards show, and it promises to be an exciting event.
The following individuals were nominated, but sadly did not receive enough nominations to continue. I think they still deserve some recognition, though. Congratulations to all of you. Even though you will not be receiving a 667 Award, you are still exemplary members:
