I haven't eaten anything in three days except a banana and a slice of roast beef, and I don't feel like eating anything. Am I becoming anorexic?

A slight bit you may want to eat something.

The thought of food makes me feel sick.

Eat it anyway. Be stoic. Mind over body. Get your parents/friends to forcefeed you if necessary.

Eat it anyway. Be stoic. Mind over body. Get your parents/friends to forcefeed you if necessary. Exactly. Either that, or go to a psychologist. Note: Pschologist, not psychiatrist. There's a difference. I know you're scared, and psychologists are less scary because they can't prescribe medicines. Look, Gretch, it might seem scary, but the only other way out is scarier, no? Really, just get help. It's nothing to be ashamed of. (:

I hate psychologists and psychiatrists. So I'll just steady my stomach and eat a tuna sandwich.
In a few hours.

You really should eat or at least talk to someone
I can relate to this, though. One time I refused to eat and some of my friends shoved food down my throat.

*shakes shoulders* GRETCHEN. You have to eat. I know that feeling of the thought of food making you sick; I've experienced it. But you've got to eat! If you have a serious problem and refuse to eat, AT LEAST drink a smoothie or something liquidy that's substantial food.

I sucked the filling out of a mexi-melt. Happy?

I recommend porridge if you want to start with something unchallenging.

That's a good idea. Anything going into your stomach is good.

I don't think you should be forcefed. If you take in too much food after having none at all for a long time it can be more dangerous than eating nothing. Just take it slow Gretchen. Smooth, easily digestible things to start with and then you can build your way up.

I don't think you should be forcefed. If you take in too much food after having none at all for a long time it can be more dangerous than eating nothing. Quite true. Once I ate nothing for about 26 hours but then I ate a lot and it caused stomach aches for a long time. I sure do have a lot of stories to tell. But anywho, its true that you should eat something small right now so that you can work your way up back to normal food as soon as possible.

I regularly eat nothing at all for a day or so and then feast handsomely. Blast. Am I doomed?
