I was thinking about this question yesterday, funnily enough. If I traveled to a country where the American dollar was worth more, would I really be able to buy more stuff? Or would prices mostly be determined by regional availability, so my wouldn't change much anyway?
I could buy about 333 eggs for $30.

It is my layman's understanding that preventing munchkin schemes along the lines of taking your 333 eggs back home and selling them for $300 is basically what customs offices are for.

Either i'm really bad at maths or my country is really expensive (probably both) I could buy about 98 eggs I think, my country is expensive or about 12 cartons of 12 from a normal grocery store, more if you buy in bulk such as from a baking supplier or local farmers market.

Stumbled across this charming poem by a young unknown poet while browsing the interwebs:

Just want to say that I love His Dark Materials and I only wish that the ASOUE series was done with the same seriousness and beauty.

Just want to say that I love His Dark Materials and I only wish that the ASOUE series was done with the same seriousness and beauty. I seriously want to know your point of view about ASOUE's Netflix show. Did you read the books before watching the series? And what did you really think? What did you think if Esmé and Carmelita are your favorite characters? I personally loved Esmé on the series. It was the best character, in my view. I would change some specific things in TPP. I would change her clothes in TSS. But the rest I would leave as it is.

I hated her portrayal in the series. She seemed to be going insane as the story went on, and I couldn’t take her seriously. In the books, I was afraid of her, and her sinister nature seeped through the pages and had a powerful effect on me. Whenever she was in the story, it changed. Another character who had that effect on me was Marisa Coulter in His Dark Materials. Her influence transferred well to the series. Esmé’s influence did not.

I don’t have anything against you, we just have different favourite characters and this causes me to be more fussy about Esmé’s portrayal.

Oh I see. I was also frustrated with Beatrice Baudelaire's participation. I liked the actress and I really loved the composition ... But the part of how her story was in the story was frustrating for me.

Dark humor for children is something that has always worked far better than written. It is impossible to repeat the same effect on the screens as in the book. AND ASOUE are Dark humor books for children. So, I think that even though there are natural limitations, the Netflix show was in fact something as close as possible to getting Dark Humor for children from books to TV. Asoue's film also made it.

I didn't know we could swear on here by using food names i get/see a lot of salsa sometimes for people who have the ~audacity~ to think two fictional people of the same gender would make a great romantic pairing, so i did my potatoing homework when learning about harry and louis.

They are censors, though I think after a while people began actually writing them, because we got so used to them. It's a mark of the change in 667 that people don't recognise them now.
