I don't re-read the books straight through - I just go over my favourite parts over and over again. That said, I'll probably have read some of the more recent books a few times. I should probably re-read the books in preparation for B12, but I can't really be bothered, and anyway, I have quite a good memory for important secrets details.

I do the same thing as Dante: I re-read the good parts of the books over and over. And in years past, I've made a point of rereading the whole series in order in preparation for the upcoming book, but this year I haven't really had time. I'll probably just reread parts of the recent books to refresh my memory.

well i started reading the books when the first 8 were out, so that is once, and then like Antenora I have made a habit of rereading the series everytime a new book is released, to refresh my memory, so that is...4 times

(Counting audiobooks) TBB: 3. TRR: 3. TWW: 4. TMM: A lot; I've lost count, but around 7 times I'd say. TAA: 3. TEE: 4 or 5 times. TVV: 3. THH: 4. TCC: 4, although it's not my personal fave. TSS: 3. TGG: 3.

Generally, I re-read the entire series in preperation when the next book comes out. I'm on TRR now.

I really haven't counted how many times I've read the series. Numerous times, though... And I reread the series a while back in anticipation of the twelfth book, because I had nothing better to read at the time. I should have waited, though. And I generally don't just pick up a book at random and read it - I'll read through the whole series. After all, they're not more than a couple hundered pages apiece, so it's not a problem.

I've read TBB to THH roughly 4 or 5 times. TCC and TSS 4 or 3 times, and TGG twice. And I DO re-read the books, but if I particularly like a certain scene, I re-read it after I've first finished the book.

Oh, the first nine probably three times, but the tenth and eleventh only twice. I just reread the whold lot straight through this summer. Mostly because I started reading this site more often and couldn't remember half of what y'all were talking about..... So, not to often. Also, I can't usually reread a certain scene, because then I end up reading to the end of the book anyway, unless it is just a quick chech of some random fact or happening.

TMM: A lot; I've lost count, but around 7 times I'd say. How can you read TMM 7 times without getting bored? I have read all of them except TGG twice, but I often open one and read certain scenes at random, and, like Dante, I also remember important secrets details pretty well without having to re-read them.

Easy. I like the book's plot. Plus I don't read the ENTIRE book over now. Now I look over my fave scenes and scenes that are relevant to the lead-in to other books.
