Here Something New. I Don't Know if This Has Been Previously Discussed But It Is New For Me. But In The First Book, Page 158, It Says This: "The Baudelaire Youngsters Looked Around And Saw That Not Only Had Count Olaf Vanished, But His Accomplices - The Wart Faced Man, The Hook Handed Man, The Man With The Long Nose, etc............................. The Wart Faced Man? I Don't Recall Him In Any Other Books. Do You?

I saw this on a website, but I think the wart faced man might be Lemony Snicket. It would kinda explain why he never shows his face, and about getting wart removal cream for your birthday. (in the MM) i dunno. it's just an idea

Here are my ideas about Messer W. art-Faced-Man (VERY bad joke indeed, note): 1) He was caught by the police trying to escape, and bundled into a police van. 2) He was run over, since there was no more room in the car, had to sit on the roof, fell forwards, and was crushed under the wheels. 3) While going up Lousy Lane in the search of Uncle Monty, he was meant to have fixed his warts so he could be disguised as Dr Lucafont, but caught an infection from the road, and died a few days later. 4) He fell into the water of Damocles Dock when Olaf, he and backup (big man-woman person) had tracked Violet, Klaus and Sunny to Aunt Josephine's house, and not knowing how to swim, and plus probably carrying something heavy, he drowned, or was eaten by the leeches. Maybe both. 5) He was mangled by the machines at Lucky Smells when he hid in Paltryville, ready to grab the old foreman and disguise himself. 6) He was toasted to death by the boiling, overly-large lasanage while at Prufrock Prep. 7.) He fell down the empty elevator shaft at 667 Dark Avenue and broke every last bone in his body. 8.) He was mistaken for another criminal in the village of V.F.D, and burnt. 9.) He fell through a weak spot in the unfinished half of Hemlich Hospital. 10.) He got eaten by the lions at carnival what's-it's-name. 11.) He invented a rocket that could travel through time and traveled to the moon in the year 3999, where humans now lived.

12.) Oh, yes, and a theory to explain the bullet holes in the trunk the children hide in at the end of Book 8: He was shot trying to escape from the police.

Yeah, but he's mentioned as one of Olaf's troupe members.

I bet ether he was ether forgotten about or he just worked at the thearte and didn't know about Olaf's evil plan.
