I walked into WHsmith to buy a british copy of TCC and all of the first edition copies had 2 pages saying chapter 5!

That was in TSS, when he was trying to make you stop reading the book because of the letter to his sister he put in it. But the whole repeating chapter thing is in the U.S. edition too. I thought it was a misprint when I bought it last year here in the U.S., but then I read the pages and all, and i got the joke.

oh ya, it is in the english version *smacks forehead*. the bauds experience deja vu, and once u flip the page it says "chapter five" again, and its basically the same page.

You shouldnt hit yourself. Ive always wanted to get the british editions, but I cant order them off of ebay because my dad says im too oyung to do it myself (Im 14, dad), and he wont pay that much money for them (they range too high on ebay). I will see if he will buy them off of amazon.co.uk (british Amazon).

Well, the price goes up overseas, and I am in America. I will see if my dad will get em off of amazon,and besides, when I look, its all way too expensive and even for jsut one book!

ummmm, why buy the british version? last time i checked they were the same, except the covers are black and do look as good....
