Interesting Chinese covers - Sunny has lots of hair, and CO has pointy ears like Mr. Spock!

I really like the first edition German ones and the Japanese ones (and, of course, the US ones...), despite the fact that they're so different. The German covers emmphasize the more ominous side of the series, whereas the Japanese covers are more centered on the humor. I think the only thing I dislike about the Japanese covers is the fact that Sunny is stomping on crabs in book five, when she clearly doesn't learn to walk until book seven. Oh well. I detest the second edition German covers; they're just so bland. All the others are ok, I suppose, but they pale in comparison to Helquist's excellent illustrations.

I didn't really like the german ones, they all just showed the baudelaires in front of houses or inside places. The second edition was lame, but the drawing style was cool. I liked the Japanese covers, and I think that the british ones are very cool. I actually like them a bit better than the amercan ones....

Although I really haven't the faintest idea why they spell it with two ls, since The Daily Punctilio is obviously spelled Punctilio and not Punctillio...
