Mmm good theory, and I can see where it is believable, expecialy the K and S thing...
But in Slippery Slope when Lemony writes the letter to his sister I got the feeling that his sister is on the good side of the schism. If it was Olaf who burned down the Snicket house and was after the Snicket fortune and who killed Jaques, I dont think K would have sided with him. She might have though. She might be tricking him.
And I have only one eyebrow if I dont wax or pluck. And even when I do, the hair grows back right away

Good research, but I'm not sure of your theory. When Lemony said he was going north--to the mountains--to find K, Colette was still at the carnival. Somehow it just doesn't make sense, unless Lemony was deliberately concealing the fact that Colette was his sister. About the KS contortion, I think it's a red herring. An anatomically impossible red herring. He actually said "dear sister i am coming to find you" In TSS, but he didn't mean Collette, beacsue he meant he was heading to the valley of four draughts, which is why i think Lemony is in the submarine, because he was looking for K to tell her the terrible news about Jacquese which he found out while reasrching TVV and he realised where K was, and he had to get there without Olaf seeing him so as he could see Beatrice too. So the story catches up with him............

In all the other books, he is writing them from the places the books take place in, but several weeks after the Baudilaires have left. When he wrote that letter to K in TSS, the Baudilaire's (And presumibly Collette and Olaf's gang) were already well into the events of TGG or books 12 or 13

I think that Lemony will finally catch up with the children at the very end of book 13, and save them from Olaf. He may even recruit them into VFD, which could lead us into a sequel series.

COLETTE CANNOT BE K! NO NO NO! Well, ur research was awesome, but
a) she didn't know Olaf, and K did
b) she didn't recognize the baudelaires
c) she would know EVERYTHINK
and I don't think k is evil, so I think that the answer to the question IS COLETTE REALLY "K"? is NO.

If Colette was K, wouldn't the Baudelaire's know it was her? Or was she too well disguised?

They never knew K if she isn't the mother.

no...colette can't be k. the baudelaires always see through VFD disguises. they would know that it is k.
what would k be doing in the carnival anyways? and would k join olaf? i doub it.

I don't think Colette had on a VFD disguise. The disguise kit list does not include a leotard or tights.

Colette does seem pretty clueless... but then again, so does Mr. Poe. It is possible However, I think the most interesting thing is that she contorted herself into the K Snicket seal. I mean... Lemony's seal is an L and an S at the same time, which would mean K and S would be K's, right? So was Colette trying to send out a signal to someone else, or giving a clue as to who she was? Or did Handler just stick that in there as a reference to see who was actually reading closely into it? Does it mean anything at all? BAH.

It's possible, but i think thers's too much evidence against it.
