Only left-handers shall be admitted onto the Island of the Intelligent. Bwa-ha... Yes! I'm a lefty, well, actually I'm able to write with my left hand because it's a proven fact that the right side of the brain, the artistic, romantic, original and leisurely hemisphere, has a direct connection to the left hand rather than the right... But hey, look on the bright side, righties+ have a direct link to the working (work, not genius) and lingual hemisphere of the brain. Wait...I write with my left yet I have thev benefits of the right...That's the 'able to easily use my right as well' to make it possible to access in advantage the left side of the brain... Why do I get the impression that the annoying newb was me... I wasn't a newbie then, though! But I was mentionned in other topics... Well, I look at the date of the post prior to that of which I would like to place, and don't even go to the second page for safety! On topic, overall, I find that Kevin is OK. No more, mainly due to his cruelty. Also, he wasn't even a freak! The only freakish person there was hugo, but he only had a hunchback...Not very freakish!

You're sinister? Good. All decent people are. Only left-handers shall be admitted onto the Island of the Intelligent. Bwa-ha... *is admitted onto the Island of the Intelligent.* I'm left-handed, but have a lot of difficulty telling the two apart. For example, if one was to tell me to turn right, I'd probably turn left. Fun times. And Kevin. He's a poor, misguided soul with low self-esteem and body image. A few years in therapy could do wonders on him.

Well...me and the other dextrous people will nuke your island! ARE there are any others? Antenora? Dante? Derik? Haha. You're all right handed. Then again, my recent illness stopped me even picking up a pen, so I may have joined your ranks... *checks* No. I'm still all left handed, and right handed, but left is easier. It's good as the right hand side of the tables in our shool are by the windows and as I'm left handed I have to sit that side. I like to look out of the windows, don't know why. My school is chewing-gum-covered, littered, cramped and it sucks majorly. Kevin would make a great builder.

You are right. It was all Kevin's attitude, which was the only freaky thing about him.

I am left-handed as well; although I do use the mouse with my right hand (it's curved to the left. There's no way you could use it with your left hand. We have another mouse that isn't curved, but I had gotten so used to mouse-ing with my right hand, that I used my right hand for that one too.), and I cut with scissors with my right hand, because when I was in elementary school I always got right-handed scissors, so I learned to cut with them. I have repeatedly tried to become ambidextrous, as I feel it is a rather useful talent, but so far to no avail.
Left handers are the only people in their right minds.
Edit: Incidentally, has anyone else heard about that one person...DaVinci, was it? Who was left handed, so he wrote backwards and from right to left? (Like mirror writing?). We watched a movie about him 3 years ago...it was really interesting. And then shortly after seeing that, I tried writing like that for one of my assignments, and, not surprisingly, it really was quite easy. My English teacher wasn't too pleased, though...

Yes, Leonardo Da Vinci wrote in mirror writing because he was left-handed. It was either to disguise his notes, or because he found it easier.
I tried left-handed mirror writing once, and it wasn't that hard. I don't know if I can do it now, though.

My father was left handed and in a pointless Kevinesque manner, his mother had him trained to write with his right hand instead because left-handers are supposedly sinister, gauche, maladroit (the language really isn't on our side...)
I find "And in an instant he became a person with one useful hand instead of two" one of the most poignant passages in ASOUE...

I find "And in an instant he became a person with one useful hand instead of two" one of the most poignant passages in ASOUE... I think that that's my favourite sentence in all of TCC. I haven't read it in a while, though.

The CC is one of my favourites, actually. The Grim Grotto beats it because of the Question Mark and Kit though...

My favorite sentence in the CC is also about Kevin. "Now I'm left-handed, just like everybody else!"

Are you insulting me? I'm highly ambidextrous AND i prefer to use my left! *Cries* *wipes non-existant tears off my dry cheeks*
I'm kidding.
I liked that line alot.
OOT: But the best part of being left-handed is that it is proven scientifically that leftiesc live an average of 7 years more. I'm going to die an oldy!
