I think he is visiting. Back when Rowling opened up her website, she started giving out awards to fansites. SHE looks at her fansites. Her favorite is Mugglenet.com. I have to say myself, it is a great site (I wrote some editorials for them). Emerson (the owner) has been reconized greatly and is even going to meet Rowling. If we advertised our site in other places (Advertising is key. I know this from working on HP fansites). We could even write an open letter to Lemony and put it on the site. That way, he will see it and awnser it. I believe he is looking. Not often, but he is. He may even be one of us. *WINK* *WINK* But according to recent evidence, he has been on here.

I think that we'd really start to catch big attention if we had a main site aside from just a forum. Kinda like long-lost UE.net.

I think 667 is linked from a "main site" called the Lemony Snicket Informer, but that place is very small and hasn't been updated for at least a year.

I remember UE.net. Very good site. Was it? I wouldn't know... I never visited or knew of it before it was closed. I just know what I've been told (and what I've seen on that Archive site). It is, and that site is in fact linked on LemonySnicket.com. However, the site is quite dead - I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that Tragedy and the owner of the Informer were separate individuals who did a deal. Come to think of it, it's never occurred to me to ask. Ironic, really, that 667 is now more famous and important than its "main page," so to speak. Edit: Well, I'll be. I'm wrong. The front page (although not the Book Information page) has been updated with information about the movie and TGG. Edit Again: uk.geocities.com/lemonysnickets/

I used to be on UE.net. It is gone now....sadly. The last time I went on, they were making T-Shirts.

I used to be on UE.net. It is gone now....sadly. The last time I went on, they were making T-Shirts. I once came across a very old site selling UE.net t-shirts and mugs. I think they had some sort of Olaf motif... "Evil-doers Supporting Count Olaf" or "ESCO" if I recall correctly. Funnily enough, the Lemony Snicket Informer site appears to have exceeded its bandwidth or something at this time.

That is true. UE.net once sold Olaf tatoos and stationary.

Wow. The place must have had huge support. I rather regret never having known about it before it closed.

I remember them at a site called CafePress.com, but when I search for "Olaf" on that site they don't seem to be there anymore. And "Evildoers Supporting Count Olaf" doesn't get anything on Google, but I distinctly remember the shirts and such having that phrase. I never went to the UE.net forum; I think my parents wouldn't let me because they were concerned about viruses or something.

Why DID UE.net close? I'm not from there, but I just wanted to know.

I don't know what happened to UE.net. I just looked at it one day and it wouldn't load, and after a while I gave up. Apparently it never recovered from whatever happened to it.

Anyone else suspect that DH could be reading our posts? I'd like to hear what you think. I imagine that he reads Snicket forums in his spare time, but not just this one. At another forum I was at, someone posted with the name "Daniel Handler", but what he said was suspect due to his poor typing. This was probably an impersonator, but you have to wonder. Yah, he wouldn't put his actual name. He probably wouldn't put "Lemony Snicket" either. I do beleive that he is here, tho.....
