I just got my copy in the mail (specifically, I got it from Amazon.co.uk using Express Delivery). The Egmont edition has, contrary to the cover on Amazon.co.uk and on their website, exactly the same cover as the HC edition. It's even got the sticker, although the sticker is slightly different. It seems they decided not to mess with it at all - smart move!

Or they were just too lazy to come up with anything with any degree of originality.

Except originality is bad if it messes up the books. Because of originality, the Egmont edition of the U.A. has an awful cover. And they did originally have a different cover for TBL, although it was pretty similar to the original U.S. cover, but they apparently decided to just keep things pretty much exactly the same, which is exactly what I want.
Edit: With TBL now released in both the U.K. and the U.S., and people fully able to purchase it, then a speculation thread is a little out of place, so this is being locked.
