Angry and rebellious after having to put up with friends who were uninterested in Lemony Snicket, I decided to Google my theories about WCTBATH instead of telling them to people who weren't even worthy anyway. Most of my ideas had already been chewed on and inevitably spit out by Dante, so this forum was one of the first results in the search.

Oh my goodness I totally know what you mean I hate how people are just so intrigued by Lemony..this one girl said he was boring and I felt like slapping her with a brick -.-

Intrigued totally isn't the right word, but yeah. I mean I tell people "Oh my god, you have to read them, but be warned, the first seven might be kinda boring for you. But the last six are amazing". And they're like "Yah, whatevs. I'm totes texting my boyf, so like yah"

At least where you live people have heard about Lemony Snicket. Here really nobody knows the books.

wow oops I meant unintrigued -.- which apparently isn't a real word..AW WELL. but I feel terrible for you Anka..only a handful of people know about them and the people that do either think they're outrageously boring and whatnot or I hate their guts and I feel like they are unworthy to be reading such divine pieces of work..

I did demand. There may have been blackmail involved. And horrendous sexual torture. Or y'know, maybe not

MisterM knows something mysterious called biscuit torture, apparently. My mind can't fathom what it actually consists of, but hey. Maybe he could teach Charles.
And yes, I hate it when people say things like "oh yeah, I remember that," if I mention Snicket. No, literature is forever - remember isn't the right word, people. "Well," I say, "he's my favourite author". "Yes... didn't Jim Carrey do that or something?" Grr grr.

Biscuit torture? Might help me persuade more people to join 667... I mean...
Yeah, the movie ruined any possibility of having super intelligent conversations with people who have not read them, about them.
