I'm pretty sure someone linked to this forum through the old Snicket forum I used to go to. The member there considered this forum competition.

lol there's other snicket forums? Not anymore. XD The one I was most active in was hosted on the now defunct ezboards. There was also one associated with a .net fansite. It's been so long I can't remember the name of the site. I just remember the forum being red and white. Both those forums (including this one) were pretty popular. I actually recently hung out with a member of the ezboards forum, since we became close friends through there. And I know that there's three members who moved to NYC and hang out occasionally too, now that they happen to be in the same city. It's pretty cool!

'Ezboards' just sounds weird when you're used to pronouncing Z the English way.
I knew there was a French fansite, but I didn't realise there'd ever been any other noteworthy Snicket forums in English.

The Snicket fandom had a really solid following when the ASOUE books were still coming out. From the top of my head, I can remember 5 well-maintained fansites... Granted, it was easier to "centralize" the fandom because there was no social media at the time, so forums were the only way to connect with other fans. That, and Yahoo groups, haha.
... I feel really old now.

The main ones 667 was aware of were the UnfortunateEvents.com forum - having a forum on the official U.K. site for the series definitely gave it a leg-up - and The Quiet World. Generally speaking, we were on friendlier terms with the latter than the former.

I found this site after looking at the Buzzfeed ASOUE fan theories list. There was a link to a fan theory on this site and I was intrigued by it all.
