I am so bad at making decisions. You seem to have honest opinions on people's work. So, can you honestly tell me if this appeals to you at all? It's for a SIMS site I'm making, and the site's gone through at least 4 major redesigns. I was thinking a secret fileish kind of theme now, and these are the preliminary download box things. I think they qualify as artwork, because i made it all in photoshop, and made the skins myself. There are two different ones. Please tell me what you think, as I have a very hard time getting (well really just beleiving) honest opinions from people i see everyday. go here: zellerrose.tripod.com/index2.html

Rock on! They appeal to me, anyway. I like them-they're interesting. What parts did you do? (*a bit slow at this time of night, I apologize if you've already said*)

Well, I made the people in them with photoshop and simpose. You basically make a texture that's flat and it wraps itself around a mesh. So it's 3d, and you can take screenshots from any angle, and pose it howyou want in simpose. oh yeah, and you can put it in the SIMS game. I made the polaroid frame in photoshop, with my spiffy new brushes. And I took the photographs that are inside the frame, and then made it look as though coffee was spilled on them (or at least tried to).

Nifty.
I did know that it was coffee...I thought that was a great touch.
The photographs, I thought, were just stolen from the SIMS game (I've never played it...*shrugs*), so really good job on those. I think the thing overall is very well done. *applause*

Erm, forgive me for asking this, Zeller, but it seems like you would know. Is it possible to extract the original meshes+skins from The Sims so it can be loaded in MilkShape? From there I can export to MD2 to use in a Quake 2 project I'm working on. It's VFD headquarters in the Valley of Four Drafts and I need realistic-looking people.
