Okay, this is about my first shot at about any poem, so I made it LotR. Here goes nothing!
For Pippin
I see you there On the table Singing songs of your time. Fill up that ale jug, A brew for the brave and true. I fill up my own And drink to you. As you dance up there And you don't know The future that lays before you. We leave the tavern I look up at the faded sign But as bright as the moon Are the emerald letters that spell "The Green Dragon". As you go home As do I, I watch you as long as I can, For I know how this epic goes. You shall touch things that were not meant to be touched, You will be lecture many times, But that is why I am here watching. I will always be here, Waiting for you. For I know how this epic goes, and I love you dearly, Pippin Took.
Well, hoped y'all liked it! I am open to constructive critisism though if needed.

It was alittle off tempo,(if you catch my meaning) but over all it was a nice idea. It kinda seemed ike it rymed in some parts and didn't in others. But I liked it. (Hey, Olaf, What was that cough for?)
