An extension of PJ's theory: ' Is Quigley lying?' Well, from PJ's theory, some are now suspicious of Quigley. But there could be more than meets the eye. 1. In TGG, it would be difficult for him to find shelter and a telegram device. The Great Unknown is most likely a submarine, and it's possible that it would have a telegram device. 2. It would take a while to get from Paltryville to the Mortmain Mountains. The Stricken Stream connects to the sea. Submarines travel in the sea. 3. The Great Unknown was very close to the Queequeg. This could be because Quigley wanted to get to Violet, and convinced some of them to get to the Queequeg. 4. In TSS, Quigley wanted to climb the frozen waterfall with Violet. This could be because he's either slightly against V.F.D. and doesn't want to help Klaus find information, he's sending a signal to the Great Unknown, or he only likes Violet. 5. Quigley could have ordered the eagles or do something to guarantee that the self-sustaining hot air mobile home would fall next to the Great Unknown. 6. No one is exactly sure what the Great Unknown does. I'm predicting if it's good, evil, or neutral. Whether if they're evil, good, or neutral, there could be a few people on the Great Unknown that helped Quigley. They could be some trustworthy members and could have done something to trick the others into helping Quigley, his siblings, and his love. If you had read the Shadow Children book series, you might understand me more when I say, 'trustworthy members tricking othes into helping someone', kind of like some undercover people.
