Okay, I can't find the thread so I started afresh but well here:
I got home from school and, after stepping in the door, was signalled by my dad to come upstairs. I went up and, after a trip to the bathroom, went into my room. As a joke, I said "Alright; who died?". I shouldn't have. My dad said, as I sat on the bed, that Steve, my mum's boyfriend of 3 months, had died. I (and I'm not ashamed to admit it) started to cry and, through my tears said things like "NO!", "Not him?" and "He seemed so fine yesterday". My dad left me with my sorrow and checked up on me every 5 minutes or so.
Well, i'm not sure what to do with myself, I mean; I feel arkward. I'm upset yet I don't feel it.
NOTE: This is not a self-indulgent topic, it's like a "Come-And-Share" one, please, in a word, come-and-share.

I am so sorry, James. My friend Chelsea's dad died about a month ago. She was sort of expecting it, her dad was a very serious alcoholic. Her aunt found him one morning... apparently, he had unknown liver problems. One day he started coughing... he coughed and coughed, and he started coughing up blood. He ended up choking on his own blood. Gruesome way to die.

He died of a heart attack. His family had had heart problems for generations. The sad thing is he died at 9AM and at that time I was walking to school from the bus station and my mum's home is only about 1/8 th of a mile away from the bus station and I feel that If I went to see my mum that moring, I might have been able to save him.

Awww.... Don't you worry James. I know it is hard, but just remember that none of this was your fault. *hugs James* I felt the same way too when my uncle died last year. He died at my gran's house, and my mum came to our's really quickly to help me with some homework, and when she got back, two mins later he died. I thought it was my fault, but now I know it wasn't
