This is true, and she, Elrond, and Gandalf had the three rings of power, nenya probably enhanced Galadriel's mystique.

I love how Galadriel's a pretty elven woman who nonetheless manages to terrify the enemy and even some men of Gondor and Rohan. I would freak out if someone like Galadriel was around me... Wouldn't you? Especially when she goes all Storm Queen on you.

Yeah, there's no denying that she's pretty intense. But then there are times when she's comforting like that scene in ROTK where Frodo falls in Shelob's lair and has a mental image of Galadriel helping him up.

I love Akbar. Plus, he's Pakistani, and I'm Iraqi. So that's a plus.

I would definitely say Beleg Cuthalion. His story is really sad, I mean he was killed by his best friend when he was rescuing him! He even participated in the hunt for Carcharoth.

Haven't read the Silmarillion entirely yet, but I kinda like Galadriel.
She mostly just appears to be a refined lady but then plot twist: she's a serious badass who according to Tolkien was Feanor as he should have been
