I'd have to go with Rivendell... it seems like a really calming surrounding.... I'd love to live somewhere like that... especially if I could see King Elrond every day!

Rivendell, I can't help the fact that I love elves...It's a sickness... Besides, that's whwere the fellowship was formed and you meet Legolas (ahhhhhhhh!!!). But perhaps Helm's Deep, cause I thaought it was funny when Gimli and Legolas were compeating.

God, it's been ages since I last read LotR. Strange. I would quite refer the Forest where the Ents lived - The Entwood or somethin'.
*goes off to find books*

Hmm Meduseld. I wonder what it's like under King Elfwine. I hope the Gondorians rebuilt osgiliath after the war of the ring, it must've been truly amazing in its time 'citadel of stars'. And it was even bigger than Minas Tirith and sprawled on both sides of the river.

Hmm. I keep getting images in my mind of the streets filled with diamond dust in Aman and Tirion.

Ah yes paths of the dead. Those levels in the ROTK video game were so amazingly annoying.... I mean King of the dead when I first played it was almost impossible, not only do you have to beat the king but then you have everything collapsing on you.
