I'm gonna have to say wizards because come on, even the power of elves like Elrond/Galadriel is nothing when you look at Gandalf and Saruman(and Radagast but we don't see much of him or the blue wizards)

Other is everything not listed. If they pick other they should then post what their favorite race is.

I really like the dwarves in the books. They're funny. And I like how they have lots of colors of hoods. Random, I know. Wizards are a fraction of a billionth of an inch behind, though. They rule with their colors. And their speeches in the movies. Gandalf kicks that Balrog's a**.

Dwarves are cool. I hope they rebuild Moria now that the balrog's gone but I guess we won't know. And the wizards get to go back to Aman. Except what happens to radagast? He's ah, stuck in middle earth even though he wasn't a traitor. Poor Radagast.

Yeah I've always imagined Gloin and the others of Thorin and Co. and the Erebor people come and make Moria this grand, golden mine that has a HUGE hall with gold and all kinds of mithril riches in hordes. And they recreate the bridge of Khazad Dum. ;D

That would be amazing. They could even rebuild the old Dwarven cities on the blue mountains(they had two of them in the first age but people who haven't read the silmarillion don't know about those)

I can't decide between dwarves and wizards. I like both.

How would they be able to rebuild Moria? Especially with all the Goblins and Cave Trolls running around *looks around suspicouslly* (Or however you spell it)

They would easily be able to rebuild moria. Think about it, the only reason they left is because of the balrog, and now the balrog is dead. With Sauron gone the goblins/orcs really have nothing to fight for so why should they get slaughtered? They'll clear out when the dwarves come back. And Erebor has made the dwarves powerful again so if enough of them get into moria there'll be no stopping them. Plus they know all the old legends and maps of Moria and such.

Yup. Though I wish Tolkien told us more of what happened after the series ended. Like whether or not the dwarves rebuilt moria, what happened to the elves that stayed in Middle Earth, did men rebuild Arnor and Osgiliath and Minas Ithil...
