I do so. It'd be amazing to see all the various scenes of the prequel played out. I wonder if they'd use some of the same actors?

It would be a good idea to use some of the old actors, I suppose.

The only ones they could really use though would be Gollum, Bilbo, Gloin, and Gandalf and you barely see Gloin.

Sure, as long as they do the important scenes and get them right.

Yeah, lets hope its not one of those movies that everyone gets overly joyus and excited about. Then they see it, and it SUCKS HORRIBLY. D-:< that wouldn't be good.

Hopefully all this delay will ensure that the movie DOES impress when it's finally made.

Wait and wait and wait...*sighs* they REALLY need to get moving...I mean, so many people want The Hobbit...yet instead they want to make films like "American McGee's Alice" and all that...when LoTR fans need something...more...

What other book would they do? Silmarillion's too big to make into a movie.

My aunty was reading The Hobbit to my cousin when they were at our house and I listened to but it was partway through so it peaked my interest but I didn't have the whole story, I'd loved what I heard so my aunt gave me money to buy the hobbit for my next birthday...then not too long after we studied the Hobbit in English and I was the only one with my own copy of it...I was so proud lol

I could never get into this book. But from what you guys have said, it makes me want to pick it up again. I bought it, like, last summer and got about half-way through it and put it down.
